Baetis Nymph, Holsinger's Fly Shop

The Baetis Nymph pattern is an awesome Blue Wing Olive pattern that can easily be tied in different colors to imitate other mayfly nymphs. This pattern is a "Old School" style pattern tied with newer synthetic materials. You could fish this fly as a nymph, swing it as a wet on a tandem rig or even drop it under a dry fly during a hatch.
This is a great looking realistic imitation of a mayfly nymph. It can be easily tied with a little bit of practice and a minimal amount of materials.
