Had brain anuerym bleed out in 2023. Happened n middle of the night. EMS came quick, took me to local hospital, where after MRI and testing , husband was told no neurosurgeon at that facility and I had 3 hours after a brain bleed for survival. Local hospital staff suggested air ambulance helicopter to FT Worth hospital. Don’t remember much at either place. All I can say is it was quick flight, I do remember looking out window and seeing downtown Ft worth. Taken to immediate surgery for coils and stent placement. Paralysis right for hand and leg resolved wi 48 hours. Excellent staff and neurosurgeon took exceptional care. 2 plus weeks in major hospital ICU then to Local rehab for 2 weeks. Daily OT, PT and home in 14 days. Can’t say enough about all the caring family who immediately were at my side, and the exception care I received at both facilities. Am 3 months post and feeling well, about 95% recovery. After learning about bleeding ansuryms I know how blessed and lucky I am. Never give up!!
