Bro what 😭 he literally romanticises illegal relationships between children and adults in his projects. Search up we are who we are, fraser and John. Fraser was 14, and John 30. :/
@crappymcdick Жыл бұрын
No that relationship ended horribly because Fraser was too young and got taken advantage of from an older person.

Thank you Luca. CMBYN is a masterpiece. I also agree with the comment about not only Elio coming of age but Timothee also. I cannot watch him in any other film portraying a “teen”.

Luca was an absolute genius in the casting of CMBYN. He found Elio the perfect partner in every way with Armie. Visually, emotionally, and whether he realised it or not, Astrologjically, a brilliant choice.

Luca is the Maestro of cinema, aesthetics, human relationships and eventually - life. Some very profound and meaningful thoughts were said during this interview, proving that he understands and is deeply involved into the stories he portrays. CMBYN re-ignited my passion for cinema. Bravo, Luca!

I hope not. I don't want things to rush just to please the fans. It'd be nice to see it happens soon but I prefer good movie than rush movie. I'd love if they did something like the 'Before' trilogy where they made them about 9 years apart since CMBYN book continues many years after Oliver leaves up until they're like 30-40 and Timmy is still very young and small they'd have to do crazy make up to make him look older. I hope they'll do the part where Oliver comes back to visit the Pearlmans like in the book. Maybe Oliver's wife comes with him or something that'd be hella sad and drama but also more interesting than just Oliver alone.

For Christ's sake, the Art of the Cinema must not be used to glorify the evil of criminals. (2:06) The Camarra of Naples has caused numerous cases of cancer in the citizens of Napoli by illegal dumping. Tonight I learned that they cleared new land for their dumping by setting cats on fire to run through the brush. Money is glorified. What do these criminals do with their money? Wealth is glorified as salvation and the foolish follow. Poverty crushes, but wealth is not salvation. The public does not know who Verdi or other illustrious Italians were. Only the Roman Caligula and the characters of The Godfather are known to most Americans. Now we have a criminal as president because people admired his wealth!
