Thank you so much for sharing this. I am new to mini albums and inserts are hard for me to think of sometimes. I've got tons of papers and embellishments but have a tendency to get bored with trying to figure out what to do next. Your videos truly help me come up with ideas. I'm learning to plan it out first. Winging it is just too hard for me. Thank you so much!! you rock!

@xLeilanixAllenx11 жыл бұрын
awesome!! I have a question though. I know you added the flap to the gusset of the bag but on the back where you put the butterfly flap pocket could you, before putting the insert together, cut a slit just a touch lower than the gusset so a tag or 2 can be inserted into the main of the paper bag? or did you try and it not work? I'm new to scrapbooking and album making so I don't know much.
@vickiem369611 жыл бұрын
Love it!

Love watching your video. How would you bind multiple inserts together if you wanted this to be a mini album? I love all the flaps and various pockets to have things in. Do you already have a video that shows how to bind this or with this design it won't work? Thanks!
@papercrafter4510 жыл бұрын
Hi, Marie! Thanks for writing! Hmmm … great question! Honestly, I'm not really sure how several could be bound to make a book. With some creative adjustments, it probably could be adapted, but this insert was designed as a stand-alone piece, not a mini album page. :)

Ingenious.. And beautiful paper placement using gorgeous paper. At :45 you cover a wooden ornament, with glue and paper, and I assume it is chipboard?? And did you cut it out with a die cut machine?? I just got a GC Spellbinder and need to know if that can be done. (Before I try it!! lol ) But I think it would need something sharp to cut it. Thank you~
@papercrafter458 жыл бұрын
+vegasjill21 It’s a laser-cut wood piece. Very thin & flat. Could be from Prima … not sure, though. Thanks for your nice comment! Have fun creating with your Grand Calibur! :)

Hi, Victoria! Thanks for writing! The insert measures 7-3/4" x 5". It's matted with the 6" x 6" Prima "Almanac" paper stack. Not sure if this collection is still available … I'd recommend you search online. :)

Hi! I just love your work - so beautiful!! I do have a question...I'm a newbie so hopefully this isn't a silly question. You state that this can be a stand-alone or mini album insert. If you were to use this as a mini album insert, how would you attach it? I didn't see any kind of slot that would slip over a "hinge" or "accordion" binding system....etc.. Thank you :)
@papercrafter4511 жыл бұрын
Hi, Deborah! Thanks for writing … I really appreciate your kind words! When I say "insert," what I mean is something that can be tucked into a pocket or sleeve in a mini album. In other words, it doesn't need to be attached & can be freely pulled out (like a tag, for instance). Sorry for making it sound like it can readily be attached to a page or hinge binding! Please let me know if that helps or if I've confused the issue even more! LOL! :)
@debcates291311 жыл бұрын
***** Thank you!! That makes total sense - I greatly appreciate your response!! :)

Would you attach like a page? How would you attach to an album? Thank you.
