You know it's all about the storybook narrative. "The powers that be" want LeBron and his son to be the first active father/son duo in NBA history. It would make for an amazing narrative that will likely boost viewership, merchandise and tickets sales more than anything before, even Michael Jordan. People will want to see how well father and son play together and if they can/will win a championship together. It's great marketing.

You definitely aren’t supposed to use the bad behavior of others. They completely diluted the competition, and made this more about views than authenticity.

Actually, black people have been saying it's bad when white people do it, but the truth is that most black people just wanna do whatever white people do. That's why black people ALWAYS compare themselves to white people. The argument is ALWAYS "it's ok for white people, so why not us" That's pathetic because what it reflects is that many black people genuinely believe that white people are superior and therefore whatever white people do, black people should be able to do, right or wrong and half the time it's wrong.

Nepotism's okay, if it doesn't take away from someone who ACTUALLY put the work-in = Lebron has no problem ruining players/coaches/GM's careers, with so many of his bad decisions, so no one's surprised that he's positioning his son, to do the same idiotic/delusional things, Lebron's BEEN doing, his entire career = it's a BAD look that they're desperate to get in the NBA, when they don't need to do that

Giving up the opportunity to play in the NBA to do something that the everyday person does is wild. Esso’s point is basically give up your dream that is plausible for you because it’s easier to do something else. At the end of the day he can always pivot if he fails or he can work towards another career while in the NBA why throwaway the chance to make the league especially when you have a billionaire father.
