Controller Xbox here- Not sure if anyone knows but you can set buttons as keyboard buttons using the Xbox accessories app. Also when you plug a keyboard in the Xbox you can change the keyboard button inputs in game. This was the only way to get my extra 4 paddles assigned to abilities or assign them to target group member 1-4 just like a keyboard user. Again it’s abit of work but works great for controller enjoyers.

quick note, you don't actually need beacon to last 5 seconds longer if you reduce cooldowns with refreshing and also light attacks

I came to the same conclusion but it seems people are used to it being 15s and also it gives you more relaxed blade rhythm. But on voice and with set group for sure a good spec I thought as well.

If if you set "Lock camera to target when healing" to off you get how you'd normally play with AoE heals. Then use a keybind for "Toggle ally target lock" you get what you start with in your setup. Unless I'm missing something ;). Essentially it's (for me) a AoE Healing -> Single Target SWITCH. I use a ground+beacon+splash+embrace setup a lot. Embrace is more snappy it feels like But constantly experimenting.

i been going divine embrace, sacred ground, splash of light, this has helped me the most becon can be nice but when things get harder and ppl are going crazy i pretty much always have an answer to heal with, sacred ground for when we are able to stack, splash of light for aoe busrt heal or back up heal, divine embrace to really top someone in trouble can pop extra healing too, i think this is best for random pug groups or dps that dont know fights as well

Depends on the group setup I feel like. In gorgon for example splash of light is really nice to reach all of the ranged players but in mutations it's a waste because beacon heals so much more and everyone is stacked anyway.

Thanks for another great video! One thing with settings I have not been able to figure out after much trial and error and tutorials is how to target divine embrace without key binds after the release of NWA. before I was able to just look at the team mate I want to heal and it would "snap" onto them, but that does not seem to work anymore regardless of whether I have targeted healing on or not. Thanks in advance in case you can enlighten me, as this is annoying me in some higher level mutations

I would say the best pvp weapon for a healer is musket, accelerating traps puts you at haste cap, insane speed and traps keep enemies off of you, and for helping allies a stopping power is powerful I hit enemy healers and stopped them from getting a divine off on the regular in combat.

It all comes down to a personal choice but if you're looking for haste, Hatchet is even better with 3 abilities giving haste + Feya's artifact dropping cooldown by 25% on thrown shot so basically non-stop haste.

@wendake215 yea I started out with hatchet, but it doesn't hit haste cap, with dodge haste 10% and the 33% from traps, and then the 10% from proximity you hit haste cap with musket, and it doesn't require you to land any shots , just throw traps, with the 20% cool down reduction from the machinist musket, accelerating traps is infinite, and it stuns enemies, plus you don't have to stop moving to activate it. The only issue is that rapier has a better stun and fleche reacts faster than throwing a trap. Make sure to get a pendant with alacrity

I think the main reason for slash protection is hatchet can chase healers pretty easy and GA can lock you down but yea I agree usually it’s fire damage or thrust.

seen your lifestaff , im a return player , some thing changed about why use sacred ground perk on LS , still having the effect after switching the weapon????? , coz that change a lot due to increase the %efect between the weapon and the gear (where was mandatory earlier). pls help on that new doubt!!!!

fortifying sacred ground on life staff is still garbage. They made changes to how fortify works now. It is pretty much just increases the armor instead of actual damage mitigation. There are much better perks to put on a life staff than fortifying sacred ground.

@@Clemz.fortifying sacred ground is amazing for your bruisers but it’s definitely better on your armor so you can switch weapons and still have it up. You’re not gonna win a war or OPR without your bruisers being thicc.

if you switch weapons, it sticks around for 5secs. If you still have SG up and switch to life staff, it will be refreshed

The problem with controller is u can either lock on with all skills or none. The issue is I want divine to lock on and sacred ground to not lock on. Wish they could let you customize which skill slot is lock on and which is "free aim" then it would be perfect for controller. As always thx for the content

You can actually make it where you lock on with your damage weapons to enemy and lock on to your teamates for your heals. And you can scroll through your group by hitting LB and right analog up or down. Now with controller and healing in OPR i like to have lock on enemy for both because that way you should always have your heavy attck that gives you 30% bonus healling ip all the time. I go all area effect…i will lock on to a enemy tank that is on the front line and just farm my bonus healing from him while throwing down all my are effects on him as it will massively heal your front line.

As a PvP healer, get rid of Intensify. You will rarely make any real use of it. You are mostly spamming light attacks for your refreshing move. Instead take Absolved so that when you are spamming light attacks through your allies, you are restoring mana. In wars, I do not even equip mana pots. Just health and regen. Never take speed of light on beacon, its a wasted perk that can used elsewhere.

Also, with PvP, if you are dodging to get that heal bonus... STOP. You will stam yourself out more frequently, and your dodges will not be available when you need it. Dodging before every heal you place down WILL get you killed in PvP.

Fraud builds. This aint the best healing builds for PvE not even close. Stop fooling your community by sending out bad builds and calling it "the best" because they don't know better. For PvE VG-LS in 725 GS you run 25 STR 50 DEX 355 INT 283 FOC 16 CON with Attuned Leather Pants and Silken Cocoon chest. Perks to aim for are 4x Health 4x Refreshing 4x Enchanted Ward (due to Pants and Chest) Abilities are Voidblade, Oblivion, Essence Rupture (Scream for dungeons and mob packs, ER for bosses / Raids) Sacred Ground, Keen Beacon, OoP is the basic solo AoE heal, if you run with 2 healers 1 runs OoP the other beacon and your 3. will be Clap Job: Place down heals and go full ham for dps support and play for perma Oblivion refresh to support your group with empower For PvE Flail-LS in 725 GS you run 350 STR 50 DEX 55 INT (due to Wizards Hat) 219 FOC 16 CON with Wizard Hats and Silken Cocoon chest Perks to aim for are 4x Health 4x Refreshing 5x Enchanted Ward Abilities are Vortex, Eruption, Bludgeon Sacred Ground, Keen Beacon, OoP is the basic solo AoE heal, if you run with 2 healers 1 runs OoP the other beacon and your 3. will be Clap Job: Place down heals if required, go by Bludgeon, Vortex, Eruption into LA chains until reset, your job is it to extend your groups debuffs while being the bridge for the empower cap. This is especially important if you optimise your raid setups and use a lot of dot applying weapons as your 2. Dots will run indefinitely so you never need to reapply unless the boss forces you to due to created off time. Same goes for Rends and Weakens. Here are the NW-Buddy(dot)de builds if you want to review them. In this example these are our Hive of Gorgons builds we use to clear very fast 20min and do the wurm carries on Nysa VG-LS HoG build gearsets/share/ipfs/QmQguTmUkzPcHKuHRCGhrk8sw4PgyZRbyHKGJquHsxGF62 Flail-LS HoG build gearsets/share/ipfs/QmYFhdZbJHQZWnZGLMtihkxRCy7LRkNYSupdH42jC3RkE2

What i really like about this game is that you need gear for everything you do. Wanna do dungeon you need 30 different gear and certain weapons. Wanna do m3 you need 30 different gear and weapons. Wanna do raid? Need gear. wurm? Another set gear. But thats dps you wanna be tank aswell then you need another 1000 differentgear. Pvp? 400 different gear. Farm gear mining gear .. gear gear gear . Ughhh chestrun is nice but why do i get 100000 gear drops that are not good at all. Its like salvage simulator

NEVER USE SPLASH OF LIGHT EVER IN PVE, PLEASE! It's actually a very bad heal skill, orb is a MUCH better skill to have. Divine Blessing is practically useless and intensify as you're reaching the heal% cap in general. Orb of Protection should be used for new healers as well due to the fact that it offers fortify + strong heal buffs to your already occurring heals. Sure if you have ranged DPS splash is decent for them, but if DPS's are playing ranged, then they should have a way to heal themselves as well (plus you have essence rupture)

The aoe heal is actually awesome. Especially to just top people off. Your teams, especially randoms will take little hits and it is the only way to actually heal them all. Orb is good, but not needed. Maybe in muta 3.

i disagree with the beginner healing build. newbies should get used to single target healing and voidblading asap. normal/m1 dungeons aren't that hard, and even if you're new you're most likely getting queued with at least 1 veteran that will pretty much carry you, anyway. mistakes should be made in easy content so you can learn from them
