I've only done one project using cables. I made your men's pullover sweater, used dk weight yarn, and it was prefect size for a woman's small. But I thought I was doing something wrong because of those gaps. Because of that, I haven't done any more cable projects. This technique is the perfect solution!! Now I won't be afraid to do cables!! Well I quit crochet on the spot 1 1/2 years ago because my granddaughter lost her baby at birth. He was who I was mainly doing all for. But now I guess I am sort of over the main pain and will start making things for others again. I used to watch almost all your videos but just shut them all out. I've been knitting for over 7 years now and recently have been getting into crochet cables. One of the reasons I prefer knit cables is because you don't really have this gaping problem, but this is such a creative way to fix it! Looking forward to practicing more cables.
