The roving is used with a drop spindel to spin into yarn. Or you can used it for felting. Either way it should be pretty.

I still loved this video. It's all exciting to me. The colors you bought are scrumptious! I'm looking forward to seeing Evelyn's upcoming dresses. And of course the baby blanket. I rarely use the traditional baby colors. They seem boring to me. Babies are more drawn to high contrast anyway, so make something fun!

YES, you would spin it yourself with a hand spindle or a spinning wheel. It’s beautiful 😍 and that’s a great price! Spinners would love it! I always love to ad sparkle to my spun yarn.

Pretty yarn .. I love working with thinner yarns , crochet thread is my favourite.. infact I’m using size 10 crochet thread and a 1.75mm hook to make a doily, I don’t often get the chance to make doilies .. I decided that I would make one .. xxx

Update on Studio Sam Yarn I contacted you about getting more of when I thought I would run short of some colors to finish temperature scarf. Was able to get back to Studio Sam owner who is a fantastic person who found me 1 yarn pack someone had returned anf had it shipped from Amazon warehouse at no charge and will let me know when it is again available so I can order rest I need. There really are wonderful people out there in our world and she is one if them. BTW yarn is easy to work with. too.

Pretty sure that roving yarn is to spin with a drop spindle or spinning wheel. I follow another designer who has just gotten into spinning and that’s the kind of fiber she orders. 💕

Every time you do a Hobium unboxing, I'm on their site looking at the yarn while you talk. Some items that were repeats for you were new for me! Oops! How did that get in my shopping cart? Oh well, might as well buy it now that it's there! Air Wool Multi is wonderful stuff; great matching hat & scarf yarn. I never bought the Everyday New Tweed, but it's soon to be on the way. I love to watch the yarn unboxing......my favorite is bulky 5 or 6.... I used to crochet with 4 weight all the time but when I picked up crocheting again , 4 weight was too light for me...... wonder why 🤔After this unboxing I will look into the Hobium yarn......see an educational video..... The unspun wool can be spun on a spindle or probably a wheel. Or it would be really pretty wet felted. It could probably be used in needle felting too, I would imagine in a wool "painting" it would be gorgeous.

You can use the felt wool in wet felting! Search for it on KZbin. Basically you use the wool's properties of sticking together (felting) by wetting it and adding soap, then you rubb it until it sticks together. Lots of pretty colors in that bag, and the gold strands will be felted into the wool. When the wool is wet and it is felted you can shape it into hats, bag, slippers etc. It will stay in the form when dries. You can make everyday items and even art. Look it up! Maybe it's and idea to try out wet felting in the BOD squad channel? 😃👌 I'd love to see you have a try.
