INGREDIENTS
3 cups flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/3 cup baking powder
6 lg. eggs
3 sticks butter
1 Tbsp almond flavoring
1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 cup evaporated milk
Pam spray
*Allow cake to bake in a pre-heated 325 degrees oven on the middle rack for about 1 hr. 20 mins. Allow to cool then enjoy.

I recently made this pound cake. After day 3 it became very hard. It was very delicious the first two days. It doesn't have a very long shelf life.

Wonderful! You made it my friend, but I don't know what went wrong because ours doesn't last that long, Lol. Maybe it was the flour. Try not to make the batter so stiff. God bless!

Melda, I have tried this recipe several times and the cake seems to be flat and too airy are you sure it needs to be cooked for an hour and 20 minutes? I’m using a stand mixer instead of a hand held mixer. Does that matter?
