I am 22 and can I just say how this has opened my eyes or have given a spark. I have started off to struggle my productivity to pray, making my screentime as a useful tool to make things go faster in life, and surround myself with people that wont benefit me in moving forward inlife. I have recently got the motivation to start praying a salaah per day , as well as reciting the quraan, while slowly progressing myself to extend my time to move forward.

I definitely need to hear this!!! It is so easy for these problems to feel like an attack on your character when it isn't and I need to change my mindset

Bahja is 100% right! I let myself always feel all the emotions I don’t ignore them. I have found that it helps me so much and also for those of you who haven’t tasted the sweetness of the reward yet, let me just say you keep saying your Astaghfar continuously see your problems get solved so much easily Alhamdulillah!♥️ Bahja is right too I also feel the same way that I’m happy my Dua didn’t get accepted and I received my answer ( the sweetness of waiting praying for it). It’s worth every day get up tell yourself you can do it 👏🏼 As always JazakAllah Bahja!!! Another great Treasure you advised.

It's clear when you speak how the power in your words is something you've experienced for yourself and I really love hearing you talk about these things because I know you believe in them yourself. Like witnessing your faith strengthens mine and I just feel like the way you portray these ideas lands in the exact right way to really make an impact on me

The thing about moses (peace be upon him)'s story/journey that caught my attention as well is how Allah (subhanah) told him to throw the staff that was useful to him (what he preceives as good), then turned it into a serpent (something he would consider as harmful) and asked him to pick it up. This for me is Iman and Tawakul and trust in Allah : when the creator of all things wants us to have faith in him no matter what we may preceive as right and useful when in reality only Allah subhanah knows whats actually good or bad for you. And I for one beleive whole heartidly that Allah Ar7am Ara7imin would NEVER want bad things for me (no matter the hardships/tests he puts me through as this is sunnah al hayat : the way of life = it's continuous tests untill we return to him inchallah).

I wholeheartedly agree and LIVE by the fact that it is framing the way I view things in my life that affects how I feel and navigate through things. Its the perspective and not the situation alone. Also If you have Allah then you know you are good!

Salam, Bahja, excellent talk as usual. I was wondering if u could make a video on how to cope being single in ur late 20s. The anxiety that comes with u not being married whilst all ur friends r getting married and also the fear of never finding a person for you and also if you should lower your standard if you are not able to find a person who you genuinely like. I have been watching you for a while and I really love your thoughts nd videos. Lots of love❤️

Don't ever feel pressured to settle Sis. And never agree to get married unless you feel okay with becoming a Mother. Sometimes these things can happen so so fast for girlies, who think they took every precaution :) The man Allah has for you cannot go to anyone else :) Remember? Because a Spouse is ideally for life. He should bring you peace. And vice versa. Too many heartbreaks happen after pretty weddings. In your 20s, I would say Sisters don't even know the value & power they hold over the many options available. Boost your own self esteem. Take yourself out on solo dates. Fill the void & romanticise being totally single. Every married woman I know misses it so much, even if they married in their late 20s/early/mid 30s. Being single is also a huge blessing from Allah. Make a list. Dealbreakers & qualities. And pray hard, including Isthikhaara. Keep working on yourself too, to match someone with that quality ie don't wait till marriage to pray tahaajjud/recite with tajweed & qiraat. Be that girlie now :) Keep considering people, but remember you alone will have to live within that family & with that Spouse after Nikaah. Yet it only takes about 20/30 mins for both of you to sign & accept x
