I need to buy some crystals. I tried one a couple of months ago and it rivaled Astra Green if not outright surpassed them. The Ming-Chi or q-shave is one of the only aggressive razors that I can use and get no irritation. It’s so smooth.

Actually only use two blades now .....Voskhod and Crysals these for me now cover the razors I have settled in on which now are niether in this video!

Lol amazing to watch this - me last month. I don't care how cheap they get... I bought a ton of Bics - easy clic handle with triple blades. Seemed like a good shave... but as I went through them, I realised some weren't very nice on the first shave, then in the bin before continuing the second. Also too much trouble to clean and dry cartridges... even though these are always sold cheap in Thailand (I picked up buy 1 get 1 free) working out at about $1 per head, they rarely go past the third shave when you do hit a good one. Mach3 is just way out of my budget - even for a 'try and see'... Switching to DE isn't about the convenience - I haven't even bothered trying out my shower/soap/brush with the old Bic. I just don't want to touch it again.

Trust me I went from Harry's at 2 bucks a cart to DE blades at 8 cents to 12 cents a piece ! Never look back I love DE shaving now ! Kit

Mike, the alignment was never off in my Ming-shi ,however the top head away sits at a funny angle to the base if you know what I mean: kind of tilted. I parked this Ming-Shi for ever because I now have so many razors that do better at getting up and under the nose. Kit

when comparing baili and Yaqi mellon ! Which is more aggressive on a scale of 1-10?

IMHO Bali is about a non aggressive 3 and the Melon for me was a 1 ~! I absolutely could not get a shave with a Melon head ~! I invented the Beast head that uses the Yaqi Melon top cap with another Yaqi base plate which turned out quite aggressive as in an 8-9 aggressive ~! Kit

Thank you for the explanation!!!! YOU did a great job! I have seen almost all your videos!!! I have a Baili 176, I want a little aggressive razor! I don't have Melon and cobbed with Yaqi. Should I buy Melon? Sorry for my English, I'm from Ukraine..

@@Bogdan-ci3pw Hi friend in Ukraine~! If you want more aggressive than the Bali than go with the cobbed head and If you want less aggressive then the Bali go with the Melon Yaqi head. Like I say some people like the Melon head but with my beard it would hardly shave my face. Yet still you might like it because some people swear by the Melon head. Kit

@@deshavetalkwithkit8935 Hi my friend. I've been using dlc scalloped black for 3 years. I had two scalloped heads, black and chrome. Chrome seemed to me a little more aggressive, although they are the same (r89 copies)..!? Thanks to you I understood the aggression of Yaqi heads and bought a cobbed head. the cobbed head is 5g heavier than scalloped. Together with the black brass handle, you get a very pleasant shave! there is no need to press on the razor at all. I like Cobbed more than scalloped! So I like aggression - 5. I used Gillette platinum blades. What blades can you recommend? We don't have persona Israel! Do you still like voskhod blades? These blades are the cheapest we have. Can they go cobbed or scalloped?

@@Bogdan-ci3pw I have one razor and one blade I use these days ~! My blade is still the Voskhod I just got my last 100 blade for under 9 US dollars from Amazon.com. I have now gone back to my all time favorite Razor the Razor Rock Game Changer .84 . I was using the Yaqi Adjustable Razor for a while but it is really my second choice. By staying with a very consistent blade and razor and shaving every 3-4 days I keep my irritation to a minimum ~~! When I was still making videos for the channel I was sooooo over shaving for my skin~! Kit
