I found your channel a couple of weeks ago after looking for sanibel island fishing vids before I went out there for some tips and really enjoying your videos brother! God bless you and your family. BTW I went to marco island beach by the jetties the other day and caught alof of fish.. Snapper, Jack, Pompano, Grunts, Catfish and a Shark that eventually spit the hook..

Marco Island is beautiful. It was hit and miss for us. Sometimes we would do well but other times we would not but that is fishing. I am glad you enjoyed your time and I hope it created a lot of memories for you.🙂

That is great. We enjoy fishing down there but Marco Island has been hit-and-miss for us. Sometimes we do well and other times we do not but I guess that is fishing anytime.

I tried it out, video coming, and it works great. My only complaint with it is that the controller is not water proof or water resistant. It should have some protection being out at the water.

The Fishing Surfer does not handle rough water at all!

The Aquacat does which is why I purchased that one. I had my doubts but it seems to work fine even in rough water. I just need to be careful when I try and collect it after it comes back. Always stand on the side the water is pushing it away from you.

Fishing surfer is junk. I have been using the aquacat for over two years in the texas surf. It isn't with its problems but is definitely a nice tool to have. I do not rely a whole shark trip on it and always bring a kayak. I have broken 2 shafts so far where the bite section got caught in the prop in very rough water. All in all its the best thing out there especially for bombing baits out again at night after catching a shark.
