To the person reading this: Have an amazing day, and I hope your dreams come true one day 😊 My Dream is to have 1k. I've been struggling to get there! After going through some hard times in my life, I realized that watching these videos really helped me get through those tough times and put a smile on my face when I really needed to relax and get away from it all. So I decided that I wanted to be able to do the same for other people, and this inspired me to start making my own fishing videos and share my passion for fishing so that maybe I could make a difference in other people's lives the same way these videos did that for me!

Strange how fishing has changed over the years, im only 25 years young, but Fishing for Salmon in the Columbia for me has changed 3 times so far in my lifetime. At one point it was bouncing eggs on the bottom, no matter what it was the #1 bait of choice. Then when that slowed down, it was plug cut herring back trolling on the bank or plunking, and now its plug cut super baits with an arraignment of tuna and smells.

Use heavy weight to start
@chrisgray84044 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks i will try that the next time I go fishing.
@ccarter00694 жыл бұрын
There is probably a little knob on the side of the reel that almost looks like volume control knob, usually it's on the same side as the reel handle. It adjusts the tension on the spool. Get your rig all setup to fish, when you have everything on the line hold your rod at a 45 degree angle and reel everything to the tip. Press the button to cast and then drop your thumb off of the spool allowing everything on your line to fall to the ground. Adjust that knob tighter or looser until the bait falls from the tip to the ground, at a controlled rate of speed. You will know it's the right speed when everything falls to the ground at a good rate of speed yet when it hits the ground no backlash happens at the reel. Using something heavy to start is a good tip. After that try a nice short cast while barely keeping your thumb on the spool but still allowing the line to go out freely. Right before your bait hits the water, stop the spool with your thumb. Try just making a nice 10 foot cast. Get good at casting 10 feet. Then 30 feet then 40 and so on. I hope this helps.

Hey Jordon what’s your thoughts on useing meat aka roe and sardines in the prop water I live in the California delta were we usually just throw spinners for our salmon or sometimes we troll silvertrons or cut plugs but I want to change it up I am a veteran and at a Purple Heart veteran’s fishing event I was talking to some of the guides and they were all split into two groups the one that says bobber and eggs is great in the delta and the other half says I’m dumb to even think that will work and I was wondering what you think bro?

I took an old girlfriend out fishing for trout one beautiful summer day. Well after a couple of beers she wanted to do something with the bobber in my pants. Yeah it was great until I dropped my fishing rod. Then she QUIT! I asked her "What am I supposed to do now"? She said "You handle it!" I picked up my ROD and fished again! I never took her fishing again! Years later she drove into a light pole New Years Eve high on METH. Died instantly! I'm glad we weren't together then! (EDIT) YEAH I SHOULD OF USED A BOBBER STOP!) Anything like that ever happen to any of you?
