There’s nothing quite as weird and unnaturally as watching two left handlers winding a reel 😂

Lol. We are both right handed. You should try it.

It's good to see a couple of blokes enjoying fishing, more so when they catch fish. More tips on how to bait up with pilchards. My kayak trailer is only about 10 days away & the launch of my kayak will follow on a few days later. As I said before, I will troll two identical lures at the same time using a loop knot & steel clips to see how the fish respond. I will repeat the exercise several times to avoid jumping to a wrong conclusion. The fish will have to be co-operative, however, & get caught. I'll let you know how that goes. I love to see your reactions when you catch the fish & the bend in the rods. I might suggest you use a long-handled net. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Himderfella. The long handled net was safe and secure in my car at the time.

For flatty 3inch Zman slimswims in motor oil green or anything with pink in it. On a TT headlock 1/4 oz

Hi Mate I normally just put the pilly on the hook and wait for the bite, but do you slow roll it ? Is it a better method ? I'm still catching heaps of bream at Nudgee from watching your videos 👍🍻 Cheers

The current moves the bait. I just work with it.

Got any tips for land based fishing like certain baits or rigs
@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing4 жыл бұрын
There are many tips but a lot are already in vids and there will be lots more in the coming couple of years. You will need to be a little more specific with your question for me not to babble on.

Hi Wayne what type of hook and what size where you using is looks a very different to main stream and what purpose is it design,also where do you get them.sorry lots of questions lol
@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing4 жыл бұрын
I used two hooks the first a size 2/0 mustad longshank bronze and the second a 4/0 truturn. Both will catch big bream and both have a little better bite protection when a big Flatty comes along. Better for bigger baits. The truturn is suppose to have a better hook up design but I’m not sure about that. The truturn is a strong fine hook so regardless if they hook up better or not I like them.

Ok thanks Wayne will give them a go .Cheers

Which lures are best for Scott’s point?

@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing4 жыл бұрын
Depending on your target species they will be different. Bream then go for 2.5’ Zman Grubz or SlimSwims Up the size of your chasing Flatty, tailor or snapper. If you’re thinking hardbody the 90mm double clutch.

Hey mate, I’m a land based fisherman near the Wellington point erea. I just cannot seem to catch any fish at all. Do you have any tips or any places that you recommend near me? Thanks Luke
@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question Luke. The answer could be 20 pages long. So I’ll give you a basic answer here and try to get a video done in that area sometime soon. If you concentrate your efforts on the 3 days / nights either side of a full moon, high tide, fish over structure that is exposed at low tide using little or no weight with fresh or live bait. Use burley often in small amounts.
