Enabling the Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy) field in Microsoft Outlook is a straightforward process. The Bcc field allows you to send an email to multiple recipients without revealing the email addresses of the other recipients to each other. Here are the steps to enable the Bcc field in Outlook:
Open Outlook:
Launch the Microsoft Outlook desktop application on your computer.
Create a New Email:
Click on the "New Email" button or press Ctrl + N to open a new email composition window.
Options Tab:
In the new email window, go to the "Options" tab. This tab is typically located in the ribbon at the top of the window.
Bcc Button:
Look for the "Bcc" button in the "Show Fields" group. Click on the "Bcc" button.
Bcc Field Appears:
After clicking the "Bcc" button, the Bcc field will appear in the email composition window. You can now enter the email addresses of recipients you want to send a blind copy to.
Compose Your Email:
Compose your email as usual, and use the Bcc field to add recipients whose email addresses you want to keep private.
Send Your Email:
After composing your email and adding recipients, click the "Send" button to send the email.
