Love any bug related vehicle, my favourite style was the early design with the snub nose a two piece hood nose piece with the driving lights in that part almost touching as per the Tamiya Sand Scorcher, I had a 67 with a Rover SD1 3,500cc V8 with a HOLLEY 650CFM, passed anything but a gas station, sadly buying a house dictated that I had to sell my toys well all but my Honda 650 Enduro bike demoted to my daily to work her indoors drove the Elco to work.

It’s crazy I First started going to the sand show long time ago I remember walking into the Building and they had sand rails hanging from the roof Literally lol the show was like pretty much all sand rails it’s crazy how much it’s changed the side-by-side really have taken over

I started going in 2001. I remember extreme performance used to hang cars from their big ass display. All the baddest cars and off road toys would be there. It’s a joke now. KC had the best rides at the show

@@MorganClarkeDesign1 yep the only sand car Manufactures I see at the show now is funco and Tatum and the old Argument everyone use to make is you can buy a sxs for the cost of a Transmission in a sand rail but now I’m seeing some sxs going for 50 to 80k for fixed up ones

Forgive me for not seeking to identify that others may have commented on the topics that follow but i came away from having viewed this vid with the impression that had the camera man spent more time filming the vehicle parts that were being commented on instead of the presenter there'd been a feeling of actually having witnessed the topics being discussed. Maybe that's considered the directing of the presentation. As is there's hardly any feeling whatsoever that the time given to address upgrades or any other feature of this vid was not achieved whatsoever. The narrator can be presenting the topic remarks without his face being the focus of the camera. Nothing was achieved in this vid due to this production flaw, sorry to say but that's my take. Beautiful project but hardly could tell and remarks on mods and such can not be understood if the visual is almost entirely that of the narrator.
