Happy Souper Subscriber Sunday! A little kitchen "hack" - when you're tasting for seasoning, you can reuse your little spoon for the second taste - instead of dipping the little spoon into the pot, use your stirring spoon to fill your tasting spoon! Less to wash later!!

When I make potato soup I saute onions and bacon in my dutch oven then drain on paper towel to remove excess grease, wipe out pot with paper towel and then add my potatoes and celery to saute till celery gets a little cooked then add cream of celery and potato soup, sour cream and heavy cream. I salt and pepper to taste . I just cook it stove top till potatoes are ready, use a fork or knife to test them. Before serving I sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese 😋

Hi Tom and Melissa! If you use red potatoes for soup, they keep their shape and don't get mushy. They work so much better than the russet potatoes. Love your channel!😊
