Is it 1/2 cup butter then melt it or literally 1/2 cup butter liquid ?

I weigh all my ingredients, but yes, it's 1/2 a cup of butter that was solid and then I melted it.

Hi Raymond ! I'm not sure, other than butter, vegetable shortening is the #1 fat used in cookies like this. Much less expensive and it also produces great cookies. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊
