I have had a bad reaction to the Covid vaccine, which means I have had to have some time off from youtubing etc. I am doing much better, but I'm still very tired. I will be back to YouTubing as soon as I feel up to it. I appreciate your comments & emails, but I cannot respond to them all. I have been updating on my IG accounts, so it's best to look there for updates right now. However, once I'm myself again, I'll be back to videoing. Miranda xxx

This was so timely, Miranda and Donna. For the first time, I made hot cross buns today. I did a chocolate and dried cherry version, but they are rather disappointing! So now I will have a go at 'gussying them up' with Jamie Oliver's recipe. You saved the day! Happy Easter to you both 🐰. I hope you had a wonderful day. I wanted to share that even though the years are ticking by, I decided to read books I never read as a child. At the moment they are ‘The Secret Garden’ and ‘Black Beauty’. Although, I have watched the movies many times. At the moment, I’m up to chapter 13 (titled ‘I am Colin’) in ‘The Secret Garden’. Towards the start of this chapter the words read, ‘But you never know what the weather will do in Yorkshire, particularly in the springtime. She [Mary] was awakened in the night by the sound of rain beating with heavy drops against her window. It was pouring down in torrents and the wind was ‘wuthering’ round the corners and in the chimneys of the old house’. When I read this, and you mentioned about the sudden change in weather where you live, I thought you may appreciate these words from ‘The Secret Garden’ written in 1911. It seems the weather hasn’t changed. As always, I enjoyed your vlog, and the Hot Cross Bun Bread and Butter Pudding looked delicious 🧈🥛🥚
