Baking Textures in Blender 2.8 for Unity

In this video I will show you how to properly bake textures from Blender to use in Unity. I will show you how to bake a texture for a single object, and I will also show you how to merge multiple objects into one to bake a single texture file for those objects and how to apply the texture in Unity.

Glad you like it! Yeah I wanted this model to work in Unity so bad because it's so amazing and FREE so I had to learn how to do this and it was so frustrating finding all the info I figured I'd make a video tutorial on it in case I ever forgot and needed to do it again and for anyone else who is looking for this!

I have an animated material using node in shader, can i bake it into images sequences ?

i don't understand why the quality of my baked texture is so bad, i baked at resolution 5000x5000 and it still bad... Do you know how to solve this?

Doing this for over 3000 assets and each asset having from 3 to 10 textures and colours is a nope nope nope. I will just model in Blender and buy a top texture, colour ,and shader addon for unity. It is a nice enough video and tutorial to fix a very old and annoying issue that has been going on with unity and 3rd party modeling software. but doing this for so many assets each would just kill any time I have and enjoyment. It would be nice if companies like Blender or other 3rd party software made a shader addon for unity that supported their colour and texture packages. They could even charge for it on the asset store
