This battle is the pinnacle of Bakugan. A final showdown between rivals who have been a thorn to the other since the second episode. My jaw dropped as a child seeing this twist, for oh so many reasons. One, Alice is a girl. Two, she's just the sweetest girl. Three, her hair is darker than Masquerade. I checked out a couple of Japanese episodes. I'd say that the creators did a decent job but the global version lacked some of the key scenes that has huge plot points. For example, remember how Ren and Fabia brawled for his redemption? In that episode there's a little Flashback scene from Ren and a realization scene from Fabia. She realized that Sid gave Rubanoid to Ren an died later. Just like Jinn and Aranaut. I'm sure there are more lost materials like this instance that prevents the show from being "good"

This is an update from an older comment because it's been bothering me since Masquerade should've won and remained the No1 Bakugan gamer since the fusion ability for Hydronoid's previous 2 forms not only added 100Gs but also nullified the opponent's gate card but that secondary effect was removed for his last evolution so it wouldn't end in another tie for the 4th round meaning that if they did enter the 5th round Dan would have lost since they both used up all their ability cards and he would have no way to counter Masquerade's gate card when it opened letting Hydronoid finish Drago off. P.S. I checked and the fusion ability for ultimate dragonoid is actually stronger than his previous evolution by making the power boost stay for the rest of the game instead of one battle. The fact that Masquerade was gonna win despite Dan throwing him off proves he truly is No1.
