At the cost of basically tearing your body apart? Bakugo's body is used to his explosions coming out of his hands, so they're more durable to withstand them. The rest of his body is only just now producing explosions, and with how far he pushed himself... it only made sense what happened next.

@@wingedbluj1674 imo, even at this cost, yeah. Most peoples even going beyond their limits wouldn't be able to blitz / tickle a prime All Might level opponent. This isn't the kind of thing you can pull off without taking risks. Bakugo said the same back in Season 2. He produced explosions so powerful it sent even All Might flying while he was wearing additionnals weights than he himself thought were really heavy... It really hurt his arms, but Bakugo claimed that no one could hope to win against All Might without taking risks.

He doesn't have the "best" development. He just has a strong development. A good development would've been something like Endeavor's evolution. Here we just see Bakugo suddenly changing his personality to another. Like Zenitsu from Demon Slayer after learning about his master.

Most people wouldn't realize but everyone reacting to kacchan after like 15 seconds of what we perceive is what happened in just a second or less. Gives more perspective on how fast he was moving, maybe as fast or even faster than izuku with gear shift at the cost of more fatigue and pain to his body.

I think bakugo was faster since izuku had a flash before he went for the hit. Here, bakugo basically just appeared there and gave him a faceful of what’s essentially TNT. Don’t mind me I’m speculating based on how this is animated.

Bakugo was one of the charachters I hated the most when I first started watching as it's very easy to screw up a charachter like him. However Hirkoshi thankfully had an actual plan and my concerns for where he was going vanished by the time he stood up to Shigiraki in season 3 and then permanently became one of my favorite charachters by the time that season ended. His redemption arc has been very smartly handled and is one of the big reasons I view My hero academia so highly.

One of the best displays of Bakugo’s development can be seen in how his Quirk changed. As a bully, his explosions manifested as large fire balls and black smoke that destroyed indiscriminately. Now that he is selfless and heroic, his explosions appear as lights and stars, and are targeted and precise.
