As far as complains about the "safe writing", you gotta admit the way it involves Bakugo's arc from the kid who "ended" Allmight's career to the kid that saved his life is too beautifully poetic to be passed up. This was a perfect way to end that Arc as well as one of the few genuine instances of guilt in Bakugo's conscience.

He rebuilt Bakugos heart with his own body, he isn't actually his heart. Think an organ transplant, dead peoples organs can still function in new bodies. Edgeshot is going to live, im not disputing that, but there was clearly basis for Edgeshot dying.

nah man, the guy can literally speghettify himself and still have consciousness, hes fine i know it, i wouldnt be suprised if one of his ultimate moves is actually a healing move, where he gets himself tiny, wash cleans him off, and he goes and does quick field medic stuff. I think Bakugo isn't necessarily Endeavor so much as he's the fully realized Endeavor; Endeavor if he was actually the number 1 hero over All Might. because Bakugo by every merit has been the number 1 over Izuku this whole time, he's beaten him everytime they've gone head to head, he's the most recognized student hero (possibly of all time in their verse), and he's about to take down the most infamous villain their world has ever seen in AfO (something only done by the All Might). ignoring the narration box at the beginning of the manga, Dynamight by most standards of measurement is more of the number 1 hero than Deku has been. I think that's what makes Bakugo such a compelling take on the Vegeta archetype, he's what if Vegeta actually rivaled Goku's relevance in their verse and had to actually learn to embody not just strength but the morality of being the pinnacle.

I think all might doesn’t die YET… we needed to see the passing off the torch so to speak … this includes edgeshot. I think once the series closes out forreal we see the ones left standing. Think about it he is now faster thank all might either w help of Deku or not…. It’s implied he was so fast AFO was not able to notice Bakugo right behind him. If AFO survives by using a combo of quirks he won’t be able to keep up with Bakugo thus further implying that Bakugo now is stronger than afo at a similar age range which is THE send off of the year.
