Sex with them is the weirdest, most controlled, non-sensual experience I have ever had. It was mechanical. On the flip side there were all the strange places and disgusting places my partner would look for sex. I’m guessing as the sex addiction worsened he became psychopathic and very much should come with a warning label. He was attracted very much to other psychopaths and still is. I have no words for how bizarre these people are. So glad I figured it out and cut the cord permanently. They do not change, they get worse.

When I found him on a dating site while me were married...it said he had been a member 2 years. I am gonna assume he has been on a dating site for many years during our marriage. I confronted him and he denied it. Lie after lie. It was the multiple bridge toll tickets that was the last nails in the coffin of our marriage. 😂 After getting into therapy and eventually walking away from that mess... I then became very concerned about what diseases he possibly contracted having sex with others and then had sex with me. I am healthy but it was always about him. And I am sure my ex was looking in strange and disgusting places for sex. Good riddens!

Always , always about them. I would feel completely degraded, used and unfulfilled. Boundaries were crossed at all times- all about violation!! So sad as I still struggle in the bedroom because it was traumatic!!! He had a porn addiction - I think , because he didn't have to be intimate, he just turned the movie on or off when he wanted. Find Professor Sam Vaknin. Narcs are people who are severely mentally ill because they never had separate development from their mothers. As a result, they can't see individuals in other people as they never got to be individuals themselves. What makes them dangerous is they are 6 yo with adult powers. I’m trying to work out if the woman I’m with is a narc, I seen some other possible traits outside of the bedroom that has got me thinking also .. but the woman is with I basically do all the work, she may get on top for about 2 minutes and stop and then expect me to do everything of which I do end up doing, she’ll always say things like “don’t stop, don’t stop” while we’re in the middle of it if needed a little break for some water or to wipe the sweat off or so I don’t cum early so as I wanna make the session long enough for her.. Narcs do not want intimacy or sex, lack and withdrawl is what they want to give you because they want to hurt you. After the first time maybe the 2nd time having sex they're done. WHY because to be sexual means you're feeling good with energy, you want to give and you're happy to receive. These people are miserable inside, they hate themselves and everyone around them. Its this lack that depletes them of energy and life itself. So now think how horny would you be if you feel pain that you cant pinpoint because its emotional you hate yourself you feel powerless and this tension inside you have to unleash on someone but never on yourself its always someone else's fault. Wow spot on. I was with my first ever partner at 17 he was 28. He was a alcoholic and narcissist and the very first time we slept together he forced me. I didn’t want it but every time I rejected him and his advances he kept saying “ if you love me you will” I was suffocating with his body weight as he was a big build and he stunk of booze,fags and body odour. I almost passed out from the pain and pressure and had to go with it. That being my first sexual experience it has never ever been nice for me since. I kind of block out and cant ever really relax. I know that maybe if my first experience wasn’t that I may not have this trauma and feel this way about sex. He did so much more as many us know what narcissists are like. I don't think it's a manual or anything they follow as such. It's more a case of it being their nature. I think to a degree a lot are probably just running on autopilot and not really aware of that being their pattern. Ultimately, they don't love themselves and are deeply insecure - so they seek out a love from another thinking it will fix the hole inside them, the missing piece. That's where the idealisation phase comes in, then they realise eventually that this person is only human, they aren't perfect and have their flaws. Another person can't make someone love themselves, that has to come from within. The moment they realise this and then stop adoring the person, they seek out to destroy them and move on to the next in the never ending quest for inner peace and happiness. I think it's just something they follow because of necessity, not because they have like a roadmap or anything if that makes sense. Deeply damaged individuals sadly.

I was bitten in unspeakable places, scratched until my back was bloody, kicked in the ribs, kneed in the groin and elbowed in the face. On many occasions. I put up with it. Until I didn't. 'No cuddles" is the norm. They fulfill their needs and they're done. A couple minutes after sex, my husband would get up, go to the bathroom and then downstairs to watch TV. Nothing spells 'warmth, love and closeness' like disappearing to do your own thing.

I also valued sex with my ex Narc most of the times. Yes, there was somewhat of a desire for domination on the Narc's behalf, but I would go along with it conscienciously. And the Narc tended to care about my sexual sactisfaction, I think that partially to get the feeling of accomplishment in having the partner staisfied and also keeping sex life helthy to maintain a relationshiop that was in all things, including sex, good for the Narc. Everything was consensual all the time. The only unhealthy thing I think happened regarding sex was the Narc denying sex as a way of distancing and punishment/control in times of devaluation and discard.

For too many reasons I can't leave this relationship yet, over the past 20 years I have been through all the stages from love bombing in the initial stage of the relationship devaluation, discard and hoovered back up I can survive in the relationship because I now see who she is and have understanding, sex has now become what I see as transactional I am 'allowed ' to have sex perhaps once a week we sleep in separate rooms now it is always initiated by me she never makes the moves it has become a purely physical function there is no connection or intimacy when its over she is back on her phone. I have to put up with this as moving on is just not possible yet I provide evertything in life for her hence the transactional feelings. Its not a good situation, I know I am being used financially but am trapped, it would be so much cheaper to just go and buy sex but this is not what I want, I want the connection and intimacy that should be within a relationship not just a physical release, for now I put up with this but it must change soon .

Don't wait. Do it now and without regret. That's not a life to have. I was in the same boot. I know how it feels only difference I had 1 once ever 6 month sex if I was lucky. The longest was 9 month after 10 years. Now I am discarded and she has a new supply. We have 2 children. I can't go full no contact. I have only a email for her no other way to communicate. There was great sexual chemistry between the covert narcissist I was with in the beginning. There was intensity and intimacy and he was very attentive to making sure I was satisfied. Gradually the intimacy dimished and there was only the intensity. He eventually developed ED and the intensity diminished also. Towards the end he treated me like a blowup doll. His touch felt like desperate groping. Now I understand why, it was the sex that kept reinforcing the trauma bond.

I have a question for you Anoushka…. Would a narcissist be aware that they have issues around sex? Would they talk openly to you about it? My ex admitted that he had a porn/sex addiction and had problems connecting with people intimately. I can’t tell if he is a narcissist or just someone who has childhood trauma (which again he talked openly about).

a lot of this is very contrary to my experience. she wouldnt have sex between 9 and 5 EST which made it nice being in the west but she never tried to cut off sex. in fact she told me many times, usually just before discard, that she wss just using me for sex. she needs it twice a day to keep her satisfied which is all i want too. sex was the only time, literally, that we didnt argue. several nights/mornings i just couldnt because she was so terrible but that hurt her bad. she loved to please even more than being pleased, which is also how i am so it works out sexually. i intentionally try to keep her addicted as am i. shes way past pretending, but because initially she was pretending to be like a normal girlfriend is what makes it the most heartbreaking thing ever. ive told her that if she could even pretend to be nice.. but she cant. a real narc is incapable of anything more and it also is a major, if not the main source of her (a narc's) pain is that they dont and cant feel those emotions that make the rest of us feel so good. i am currently parked in the garage. thinking my reaction when she comes back. im hoping ill meet someone normal neurologically before then because i know i want the sex but i also know she seeks to destroy me.

I think i evolved some Narcissistic or BPD traits from being bullied. when i started having sex i kind of found a thing to become good at and became an addict for many years, i always needed new girls to feel good about myself. but i kind of grown out of it and what is left it that i realy need to feel i do a "good jobb" But now being in a loving relationship it becomes more and more natural and i can let go of my insecurities and focuse more on the moment in a natural flow. When i was a teen and in my 20-40s it was mora about atention and validation.
