@@ChelseaCallahan 9 - 5 working industry was created, because masons wants slaves. Schools systems prepared us for our future slavery. Wise ones reject this and seek GOD and start relying on HIM fully. it is unwise to count on the governments of this world. Didn´t they proved in 2020 how badly far are they from reality? slavery turn no soul rich, the price for such slavery is opposite: you lost: time (1st 20 years = childhood, then comes 40 years for slavery = your 20s, your 30s, your 40s, your 50s, then comes 50 years of being elderly = 60 - 100) health = all these vaccines, which slowly turns you a cripple + man made fake food ( we are dust and should consume which comes directly from dust) life = no time and no health = early grave Each of us shall lose 3 times, gain nothing more then illusions. When reading THE BIBLE (KJV) and complaining abut the slavery in the past, know then this, that 9 - 5 working industry = slavery of our day.

Wow. I can relate to the struggle of letting someone into your 'organised' life. Not organised in the sense that I've figured everything out. Just that I know for example what I need to keep all my plates spinning. My routine to help me adress problems in job, apartment, physical & mental health, family, friends, hobbies, bills, etc. The hundred litte things that I need to do in a certain way, at a certain time, in a certain mood for me to keep my sanity without having to worry about the needs and wants of another person. And the necessity of shuffling a second persons's life into that is destined to tip me into a slow spiral. So yeah, I can relate to that. haha

I’m in my mid 30s too and my lease in Orlando fl ends in June/july also, that’s when I want to see if I can get a job transfer from Orlando to Manhattan within my company. Loews hotels. I can’t even start finding a place until I’m confirmed for a transfer and I’m considering selling my car since I technically wouldn’t need one, I’ll just drive up in a uhaul van with a small % of my stuff

@@alexanderduff6018 that is what I'm doing as well. I'm taking my SUV and a small pull behind uhaul. Whatever doesn't fit, doesn't go. Will sell my car once I'm there. Been looking at sublets, think that will be my best bet for now. Or even a long term air bnb, they have monthly options.

@@cristaB92 that’s a good idea actually. But I drive a stick shift car. Not sure if my car can handle pulling a small uhaul trailer. But I can try to save money from here to then and sell my car when I get there. Out of state tags though but they can always get a title transfer

It was also my first time living alone and have found your content so helpful and just comforting as I’ve stuck around since. I really appreciate your authenticity putting this all out there that so many of us feel - it’s so valuable! I’m so sorry about your coworker, my boss got really sick and eventually had to retire last year and dealing with that kind of grief in a work setting is especially tough. Relating so much to what you said about routine and letting ppl in…I’ve gotten so used to living alone and dictating my own schedule that being vulnerable and available with my time is…difficult and scary. I actually decided that I need to delete my dating apps for a while as I figure this out. Like, where am I able and willing to make the sacrifices necessary for real connection? Where is that healthy and where do I need to establish the real boundaries that I need for myself?

Ugh, balancing work and personal life these days has been difficult. I've noticed a huge gap in this space compared to pre covid. There's more tension at work, so that trickles down to personal live. I'm sorry to hear about your co worker, a co worker of mine told me she has breast cancer last week, and she's at the stage where she has to choose treatment options. Things are heavy, and I can't help but think about her because our company is also going though a series of layoffs, just like everyone else. Anyway, be safe out there.

Here are a couple of tips that helped me work towards a better daily routine and not feeling so overwhelmed with "adulting" responsibilities. First thing, make your bed everyday as soon as you climb out of it. This sounds crazy, but one it will make your apartment feel so much better if you have it tidy. Second, don't let your dishes pile up. As soon as you finish eating or drinking, wash that dish or put it straight into the dishwasher. As soon as you finish cooking, rinse that pan and do the same. You will feel so much better not having so many things to do at one time. Smaller tasks make it easier and you will be amazed at how much less stress you will feel when you get home. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me when I tell you it will lead to other small tasks and before you know it, you will be like "what am I going to do with myself because I have so much extra time on my hands". LOL I hope you have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend.

Oh no- I'm so sorry to hear about your colleague 😟I had something similar happen last year, when a colleague was in a bad accident and had to leave. It's an odd feeling- almost like a sense of grieving that has no where to go (that can't be expressed outside of yourself)- since the only other people who knew them also work with me, and we don't talk about those things at work. To veer off to another topic- have you thought about getting a small washing machine kind of appliance for your apartment? My fiance and I went down a rabbit whole the other night looking at them (he needs to get one for work) and there are a ton available now catered to people who live in big apartment buildings or people who go camping lots. It might help you a bit!

Hey Chelsea. I just wanted to tell you some of the unintended benefits of your channel, since you might not be aware of them. I love watching your channel because it gives me courage to live on my own in the midwest. I never intend to move to new york, but when I think about leaving my spouse, and my big house (at 40), and moving into a tiny apartment that's twice the price of my mortgage, and maybe doesn't have good plumbing, or whatever...and struggling with a shitty job and no support or guarantees...that's some new yorker shit. Anyway, I just thought I'd tell ya that in case it motivates you. ❤

I am sorry for your loss. People often apologize for being sad when someone passes away, like they don't have the same "right" to feel sad as someone who knew the person better. But I think it is beautiful when people are sad when someone dies. If I was the person who died, I would want people te be sad (for a little while), and it's not as if there is only a limited amount of sadness to be divided 😉 It looks like Phoebe is settling in nicely! KZbin is now showing me several bunny videos (I did not know that they could learn so much!) 😄 I am very impressed with your strength to keep going, even on your lesser, or even, bad days. It's so nice to have a real, honest vlog. Thank you for sharing. I also liked the saying when you only have 40%, that you gave 100% of what you had (I am paraphrasing). It reminds me of something I read the other day, that when you try/do something and it doesn't work out, you didn't fail, but you learned something. This person said: 'Either I succeed, or I learn something, either way, it's a win!' And that just struck a chord with me! I had never even thought of looking at it that way.. I have a tendency to get stuck in my head and (especially when I am feeling low) then I don't do anything, which is such a shame.. Anyway, hope your week improves! I think you are doing amazing!!
