I'M MOVING IN NEW YORK CITY: A *chaotic* packing vlog + NEW apartment preview

That's right, I'm moving out of my tiny nyc studio apartment into a much bigger space (still in nyc though) and am SO EXCITED and grateful for the opportunity to do this. As I pack up my life in less than a day to move, we go through all the little details and process this move together. I would definitely say this is one of my more chaotic vlogs. I think part of the appeal of your videos is knowing someone else is out there who is just trying to make it and is almost over her head but never quite. I've moved in New York 3 times and I feel like "it's worse before it gets better" is the perfect thing to keep in mind during the whole process (even once you get to the new place). And also that you should feel all the emotions as they come because I was an emotional wreck, even when I was excited to leave lol

i've always recruited my friends to help me move, but also it was really helpful to have a new apartment ready before the moveout date on the old one, that way I was able to move the knickknacks or just stuff i didn't need rightaway beforehand and just concentrate on having movers/friends move the big items.
