I started cutting my own hair for the last month without any previous experience. I swear it is so satisfying, I’m still learning and getting better each time. It is not as hard as you think. Barbers used to mess up my hair and my hairline, trust me, no body knows ur hair more than u.

Thanks for the inspiration. Been cutting my hair for the past 29 years since graduating high school in 87. Lots of trial and error -boy talk about errors but they made me come back better. And I've saved a ton of money cutting my hair. Here's a tip that works faster than upward stroke motions for blending and tapers: after creating levels, do downward strokes for flawless blending.

I got my self cut system 1 year and half ago. Am still a beginner and still learning as I go. I usually watch KZbin videos every other day to keep learning how to cut my own hair. I do a good job sometimes, but of course there's going to be times that it won't come out as good. But I have to say this video is short, "step wise" but man you did a really good fade on yourself. I wrote down the steps so I can follow them when I cut my hair again in 4 days. Saved my self a lot of money by cutting my own hair for the time that I got the self cut system. Thanks man!

WARNING: To all the Europeans asking for clip sizes in mm, AD is using an Andis set of clippers. That means the sizes are as follows: Clip 0 = 1.2mm Clip 1 = 2.4mm Clip 2 = 5.3mm Most standard retail clipper attachments in the EU go 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm etc. If you want the results shown in this video, you're *either* going to have to buy a set of clippers that has attachments that small *or* a set which has an adjustable taper lever with preset positions, and experiment without attachments. Greets from the UK!

@OFFICIAL_BLKMAGZ4 жыл бұрын
For everybody watching this. This video is Golden. Follow these exact steps below to fade your own hair using this method. Create the first guideline using open blade a.k.a. No Guard on clipper Then cut sides and back to desired length which is a size 3 guard on the clippers Then use a size 1 guard and create a second guide line above about 1/2 inch. Then blend/fade the top guide line using a size 2 guard on the clippers Then fade out the bottom and last guide line using size 1/2 guard on the clippers “fade almost done” Then Do light clean up work using a size 2 guard on the clippers for the top of the fade making sure not to go to high. Open blade “no guard” can be used to clean up lower part of the neck and sides under first guideline . Again make sure not to go too high. This step is only to clean up.
