Just finished Void Stalker and I gotta say, I loved seeing how the Eldar fought and their effectiveness. But even more interesting to me was how desperate they were to kill a single marine in a attempt to stop "The Phrophet of the Eighth" from uniting the Night Lords and bringing them to their knees. And only in attempting to prevent the prophesy, did they ensure it's fulfillment. And now, I can't wait to see the darkest and cruelest forces in the galaxy go head to head with one another.

ah, yes, another self fulfilling prophecy. Almost all Eldar Prophecys are. At least all that are ever mentioned in any kind of detail. At this stage, ignoring these things would be the rational thing. **sigh** sorry, im kinda frustrated with this. this happens so often that i used to believe we would find out in the Psycic awakenign that these Self fulfilling prophecies send by Slanesh or something, to get the elder to waste threir resources. But that isnt going to happen, sooooo... its just bad writing. Perhaps its just what GWs authors think tragedy is.

I do love that closing statement about taking the universe seriously. There are many reasons why the Dark Eldar have been my faves since they were introduced, and that they have a whole sub-faction of psychopathic lingerie model gladiatrixes is definitely one of them! Also, that a possible exchange between a Drukhari couple might go something like: "Remember, we're going to see the Cult of the Cursed Blade tomorrow, so don't forget to update your genetic information at the Haemonculus'!"
