Making My Own M&S Steak & Chips Pie For A lot Cheaper

For a moment I thought you were going to do a looky-likey from scratch! - but this variation on a theme for which you could feed a family of 4 as the main event on the plate for around 50-100p more than the cost of the single M&S 'posh' version is a cracking idea - and I'm quite sure will be pinched by a fair few of us! Another great review Gareth, I love Morrisons pies. Sunday lunch pie, veg, mash and gravy followed by their apple pie with either custard or cream. Can't beat it for taste and price. 👍

Even better around 6 when a lot of these get reduced to about 30p. I love Morrisons, good quality without being pretentious. Staff in Morrisons are very friendly too.

Good tip for those that are on a budget and wanted to try that cheesy chips pie. I always find Morrisons pies to taste like they lack significant seasoning, but not sure if Asda and Tesco are like that too as we don't have those near.

Gareth, Hope your well ,Yet another entertaining video , i think total cost of the home made pie was probably less than £2, so where does the rest of the money go ,on Gold coloured lettering etc, ! Had my eyes opened when i came out of work, the likes of lidl, Aldi etc are saviours, people save your money on important things like trying to stay warm etc, not wasting on over priced Pies, that joe bloggs can make for a fraction of M & S prices 😍😍😍

Oh no Gaz I had the Same hoover the Beldray , I bought it from Tesco for £40 but it kept overheating to the point of nearly catching on fire so had to get my cash back and in the end i got a Henry Hoover for £99 which was a lot safer and sucks more up .

TOP REVIEW Gareth! Those Morrisons pies are available heated up at lunch time to take away and any time I’ve had one they have never disappointed, always plenty of meat in them. If you’re on the road you need to have a fork or spoon to eat them with as they fall apart once out of the tin. Brilliant brain wave pal and it looked absolutely delicious, maybe Morrisons will make your version too? Did I spot the 32 Armoured Engineer Regiment plaque on your wall? Yes, absolutely get one! I've had my Ninja Foodi for a good couple of months and it keeps surprising me how well and how quick it cooks. My last experiment was two ASDA Farm Stores sausages done in just ten minutes. Another day I cooked two and added a Tesco hash brown, sausages on one side, hash brown on the other. Sausages ready in ten minutes, plus 5 minutes more to finish the hash brown (it was frozen, so needed longer coking time).

I’m sorry may be cheaper, however the quality difference in marks and Spencer’s and Morrisons is huge. The pies in Morrisons aren’t good imo go to m&s if you can afford it
