I want to thank Harry and all the heroes who upload videos here from the bottom of my heart. Just like so many other’s I have struggled with the same problems and it has been eating me up from the inside. Been limiting my life for so many years, but after watching several videos here I decided - now I'm in the club. Been trying and thinking about it for years but needed the inspiration this channel provides. Now I want to live my life without the limitations I had. Imagine being able to bathe without panicking about bald spots or being able to go out on a windy day without a cap, or being terrified of someone touching your hair. So happy to get rid of hair fibers and hairspray that I used in large quantities. Happiness! These videos have changed my life. 🙏

Thing is when you do treatments other than Finasteride, you are wasting your time ultimately because the DHT is still killing your follicles. Microneedling and Minox might aid a few small follicles to grow, but DHT is still there devastating your follicles. All you need to do is take 1mg Fin every day, or even tbh you can get generic 5mg Fin for like $40, and taking a quarter of one of the 5mg once every 3 days should be enough to drastically slow your hair loss. So a quarter of a tablet every few days, that is easier than taking a multivit, and it is the only thing that will really slow your hair loss down - everything else is total garbage. Problem is you have to do this early - as soon as you notice loss - as it won't regrow much, only stop further DHT damage. And they say you can lose 50% of your follicles before you'll even notice it. And Fin doesn't totally stop hair loss, some DHT damage still occurs as it naturally does in everyone as they age. So if you are already NW3 or NW4 like the guy in the video is, Fin won't do much for him other than allow him to keep what he has. So he'd either need to get on Fin and get 2 or 3 hair transplants to fill in what he has lost, or just accept it. And for a lot of people just accepting it at this stage is the better thing to do. He should have started Fin back when he was younger and first noticed the loss, it's too late now. And yes there can be sides with Fin, however they are basically psychological. People talk themselves into thinking they have sides; e.g. they will try to sleep with their girl, instead of letting it naturally happen, they worry "oh no I'm on Fin, what if something happens" - they then have problems getting it up, think it's the Fin sides, their heart races, they now think they have Fin sides. When in reality if they had taken a sugar pill the exact same thing would have happened. This explains PFS (post Fin syndrome) too - as when they stopped the Fin, they still get that anxiety when trying to perform, and blame it on Fin rather than the anxiety. So I would not worry about sides with Fin, it is entirely psychological.
@muskokaboats10 ай бұрын
Fyi the sides are not all psychological. I’ve tried fin 3 times now and decided my body can’t tolerate it. 2 people I know also struggle with it and are planning to stop. Depends what you ultimately can put up with for your hair.
@unintendedinfo223910 ай бұрын
Finesteride does have side effects and is very poorly studied tbh, no body knows what the long term effects of taking a DHT blocking drug is, ultimately it seems stupid to take a hormone blocking drug to stop something that is completely natural and harmless
@exactly117610 ай бұрын
@@unintendedinfo2239natural doesn't always mean good . A cancer is natural and yet it's awful. Your argument doesn't hold up. Finasteride is safe and effective and has been used for decades on millions of men already.
@JohnJohnson-do3db8 ай бұрын
You are very wrong bro. There are studies showing over 30% of people get sides from finasteride, and up to 7% can get permanent sides on finasteride. I thought the only possible sides were ED but I tried it twice and got insomnia and depression so I had to stop it. Plus there are already studies proving that the sides come from people ending up with over expressed androgen receptors along with many genes ending up over or under expressed which unfortunately can end up being indefinite for some guys.

These ppl never look further than minoxidil. Bro all you need is finasteride once a day and apply minoxidil twice a day. It's like a max 4 minute process. Minoxidil alone isnt gonna block the hormones causing your balding, only get a few hairs back. It's finasteride or dutasteride that will actually STOP balding, and minoxidil will aid you getting hair back. Some of you are very uninformed on this topic. It's far from an "hour process" like he claimed, I dont know what the hell he was doing in that hour, microneedling is useless compared to taking a finasteride pill
@Baldcafe8 ай бұрын
For you it’s an acceptable place to have paused the hair loss as best you can with daily meds. If that’s the right path for you then I’m honestly happy for you. For others, they want it totally over and done with not looking over them at all. No reminders no nothing. So they move on to a different phase with it all which is essentially going bald and accepting it. Honestly only when you’re at that point can you “get it”. It isn’t the time it takes putting a pill in your mouth and swallowing it. It’s the mental burden including time spent worrying that is the issue.

Modern science are gonna blow our mind very soon actually with new treatments like GT20029 etc... Nothing wrong with being a conservative though and to prefer being " old school " . In fact, politically I'm mostly a conservative so I understand that. But let's say people should move on and be progressive about accepting the science behind hairloss . @@Baldcafe Taking a finasteride pill is less than 1 second of work. If you choose to apply minoxidil, that's maybe another 4 minutes, it's just like brushing your teeth. Minoxidil and finasteride is all you need to keep your hair dude.

So deal with the depression and it deals with the problem for real. I got nothing against those who want to take meds but the result of not worrying about going bald can also be achieved by totally leaning into and accepting it. It’s realz hence why I do what I doz
