I’m 22 and I’m not bald and no signs of gong bald yet. my dad is bald no other males in my family are bald I like to watch these videos to almost prepare myself just in case I do and they take the fear of going bald away. I’ve shaved my head just to see what it would look like and I really like it a lot I feel almost like I look better without. I love seeing other peoples stories overcoming it. Great video as always, and he covered so many important points like the little insignificant moments that weren’t possible before. One thing that no one covers that happened to me, I shaved my head and actually felt and looked WORSE. Not only in my own mind, but even amongst peers opinions. People would say “you look like you came from a concentration camp” and other things. This is worth covering because many watch these videos thinking this is the answer, and that’s not always the case. It’s better to cut your hair into shorter type hairstyles and work your way down.
@Baldcafe Жыл бұрын
What did you do to deal with that situation?
@bobsmithinson2050 Жыл бұрын
@@Baldcafe funny enough, I did what you did recently, and embraced the “balding” look with hair still on my head. As you stated and showed in your videos, it’s more empowering to embrace that look (albeit much more difficult). Of course, everyone’s situation will differ, and some will certainly feel better/look better fully shaved, but I feel that can’t be a ground for every individual. You personally have a great head shape, and other positive attributes that basically make hair irrelevant. Some of us rely on the hair to make a what we are, and taking it away completely goes too far. I suppose no one would know until they take the plunge regardless, but people should keep in mind that they can still look good/feel confident with a balding look as well, just like your year journey showed.

Can you either accept or treat it I'd say if you are that far gone, shave it, then decide if you want to use the tipical hair stack (minoxidil, finasteride, microneedling, ru58841, etc..., not all of them at once for most people) I know I got very close to baseline frontal hairline with minoxidil + microneedling in just 2 and a half months, adding RU on top for prevention Shaving one's hair is important though, I encourage anyone to try. For most young people, take away their hair and expensive clothes and here goes their value

Sounds like what he experienced when on finasteride "I kept losing hair" was the inevitable shedding phase that comes during the first several months of taking the drug. It's a shame he didn't stick with it, because an initial shed is a good sign of a strong responder to the drug. Same with minoxidil. The shedding phase can last for over a year, especially if you decide to add Minoxidil later down the line.@@Baldcafe

@Baldcafe stop lying mate. Finasteride stops hairloss in it's track for more than 95% of people. And regrowth in more than 80% of people . So if you combine Finasteride with minoxidil, basically the hairloss doesn't progress at all. Just read the scientific data . Your channel is full of shit . Conclusion : this gentleman is the video probably didn't use finasteride long enough (less than 2 years I suppose). Lots of people quit after 6 or 9 months while going throught a shedding phase.
