I wish there was a subrace option to pick githzerai instead of githyanki. Missed opportunity for unique dialogue/encounters

They are the same species. Their difference is purely ideological, githzerai being more geared towards peace and knowledge. You can actually role-play as githzerai if you choose the appropriate dialogue options.

@@michaelgoudis344they get different spells and little a little different. Like how their is two different types of drow. But at least the two gith have different race spells

It's insane how different these encounters go depending on factors you have race/knowledge/background. Never thought it was possible for a game to be like this. Most i ever saw was with the Walking Dead game and this game has far more branches than that.

This whole mission as a Gith was SOOO conflicting I wasn’t sure if I should go all in for my people and la’zel who became my closet party friend or trust my guardian. SPOILER I’m so glad I trusted my guardian tho. I had a feeling Valikith was full of shit ever since I heard of the story of Orpheus the true king. (A side lore drop you can find out if you walk around the crèche and interact with other gith) Lae’zel is slowly starting to see the truth as well now

Honestly the story plays _fantastic_ as Githyanki loyalist: * report to Creche * responsibly report to Zaith'isk for parasite removal, but it blew up...damn. * responsibly obey Vlaakith by going inside artifact to kill the one inside * actually try to kill them inside, but realize you can't * exit into ambush by Githyanki, where you realize they were going to kill you regardless of what you did * harbor permanent hate towards Vlaakith for betraying you and choose all anti-Vlaakith options from that point forward * eventually fly into space on a goddamn dragon to go kill her

@@majmage ahh seems like it leads to the same ending then despite different paths- being a gith is so fun tho I love the way they speak so bluntly. Me and Lae’zel be talking shit to everyone 🤣

So Because there is not the Part yet where you are in the creche : you play as a githyanki Cleric who doesn’t worshiped Vlaakith. Did you encounter any specific options for your Class/god or did the creche comment on this ? Lorewise Vlaakith and other githyanki hate those outcasters and want to destroy them.
