i turned notis on for the bg3 content also, idk if you want tips, but i have a tip about how you could have saved shadowheart (of course she survived anyway) but its a useful thing in a lot of parts of the game. let me know if you want to hear it

@@Andeh8 basically the way you could have saved her is that if you fail a skill check in dialogue, you can switch to another character in your party to try again, basically lae zel tries to free shadowheart after your character fails.. this is of course assuming you dont roll a 1 with lae zel too

I think I heard you mention you weren't happy with your hair highlights. You get the option to re-tweak your characters looks a bit later in the game if you want to. It took me over 3 hours to finally get my character looking just right..... sad I know.

I so want to play this but my computer died and I haven't been able to save up enough yet. I went to the Larian web site to buy a hard copy for PC, but somehow I screwed up and got a XBOX copy. I could have returned it but I decide to spred the joy and sent it to a friend who had an XBOX. I'm going to try again soon. 😂😂😂😂

I feel like actions have far more consequences in BG3. Like in Act 1, there is three different choices for the Grove and Goblins conflict, and each will have consequences into act 2 and 3. Also your companions will also have their own crossroads, that can lead to different outcomes. I also greatly enjoy that everything is voiced. Makes NPCs feel more alive. This is mostly a difference between nwn and bg3, because much of dao is also voiced. Lastly I love how how more free movement is in BG3. If a mage is standing on a ledge and cast spells down on you, unlike DAO where you run around, in BG3 you can use the jump action to get there faster, then throw to grab the guy and toss him out over the edge towards another enemy and into melee with the rest.

@@dianabialaskahansen2972 So bg3 is trully 3d game, not 2d looking like 3d. Voice doesn't guarantee success - swtor and eso are prime examples. In ffxiv most of dialogues is not voiced and you have to read tons of lines of dialogue and yet it is one of the most popular MMOs. One major thing that prevents me from buying bg3 is turn based combat. In most RPGs i have played turn based combat usually drags the game instead of improving it.

I actually disagree, i knew what dnd was but not how to play it. Though i dont understand the theory of DnD, playing has not been a problem at all 😁 this video was recorded 2 weeks ago and as of right now i have around 40 hours in the game

@@Andeh8 tbh it's vastly different from older isometric DnD based games and closer to other larian games And that's mainly what I meant - you won't be comfortable with other games of the sort after bg3

@@alexlevkovich2368 I don’t disagree the controls aren’t the best especially on xbox but I got the hang of the game pretty fast I’d actually argue it’s probably one of the best games to start on because I’ve tried soooo many of these games & never found one that caught me more than 30 minutes.. this game is absolutely amazing I was shocked tbh. But I still agree there is some jank with the controls but I think it’s fine considering how much u can actually do in this game lol
