To me this build works better in a dual wield with divine smite on reaction activated. Just use 2 paladin, 6 sword bard (for dual wielding bonus and spell slots), 4 thief. Pick dual wielding and savage attacker as feats. Use searing smite for the extra BA, and use those to hit with the off-hand weapon, on which you can divine smite on reaction. This way you can double smite (searing+divine) and attack other 3 times (1 extra attack + 2 bonus action attack) smiting on every attack. It's a really powefull and versatile build. I love using phalar aluve for the shriek (ideal with a sorcerer for the disadvantage and occasional magic missile) and larethian's wrath for the special AoE attack you can use to smite on multiple enemies at once.

I definitely wanna try this with Wyll since he has that Rapier from his side quest. I may swap some other things around too since I won't need both 18 dex and 18 cha. Fantastic idea

You should do an alternate build of this based off some mods. For example, the 5e Spells mod adds the “Arshadalon’s Stride” which increases movement speed by 6m, prevents opportunity attacks, and it inflicts 1d6 fire damage when you run by an enemy that is 2m from you. That spell would fit perfectly for this build.

You could stick with the current stat allocation as is swap to a 2hand version using The Dancing Breeze as it is a finesse polearm or Phalar Aluve (also a finesse 2hander) for more damage stacking. Swapping to fighter seems cool but is a difficult thing to do to fit in 3 rogue and enough pally to get spell slots while maintaining enough feats.

I get the 3 feats but 2paladin 6bard and 4rogue would make it a little better just for the spell slots

If I get wylls robe or something that adds fire resistance while I’m a red Dragonborn, does that nullify fire damage from hurting me? 🤔 I ask because I want my Dragonborn to feel as if they are just a mini dragon as in it doesn’t use weapons (except the drakethroat glaive or somethin that could resemble claws if that makes sense) and all its fire stuff packs a punch while also not taking damage from fire and keeping the monk aspect of it since I have high wisdom for my monk/cleric shenanigans.(because I did paladin last playthrough I’m staying away from them this play through lol)

I don't think resistance stacks into immunity. Or even stacks on itself to effectively have more than a halving damage effect. So might as well just have as many different resistances instead of trying to get immunity. I admit this makes me sad as you can't just have a fireball party. But I suppose that would be too broken

I hate to be "that guy," but wouldn't this be more efficient with the summoned Flame Blade? It counts as a fire spell attack, has decent damage when upcast, and is way more spell slot efficient without dropping concentration. If you dual wield it with the Ritual Dagger and the Rippling Force Mail, you can stack Force Conduit on top of everything else as well.

My only issue with Flame Blade is the time limit.

@@HoboZone That's fair, but if you spend the first turn hasting and casting Flame Blade, it should last the entire fight. Or pre-cast if your forsee combat. Yes it's more clunky, but I feel like it'd be the stronger option overall. Throw in the fire pen feat and you're golden.
