The Wonderous Gloves are a really good early game item as well for this build. + 1 to AC and + 1 Bardic Inspiration total charge.

Have you ever thought about making a Voldemort build? Githyanki wizard, dark urge, doesn't bow to anyone, loves forbidden or dark magic? I think it'd be really cool
