Balinese are such an amazing breed. I had 2 who lived wonderful, long lives. When they passed I had a half Siamese with long fur and a Neva Masquerade. It may sound strange but the Neva is just like the one Balinese! They were old style Balinese with slightly "dodgy" pedigrees! But absolutely wonderful, enchanting cats who thankfully visit me in my dreams very regularly.

I lost my Balinese this week. He had a tumor and had to be put to sleep. He was the best you could ever believe, smart, sweet, lovable, everything. God I miss my Charlie, my best friend.

Lovely presentation and quite an informative introduction! I am a Siamese person of ohhh about 50 years or so, and noticed right away with my first Blue Point that I was not nearly as allergic as my Grandmother’s Tuxedo cats! My two Siamese boys are also “Old Style” like my first one was! Now they are officially “Thai” cats. Do Old Style Balinese share that distinction as in “long haired Thai”? Thanks for sharing! I love the look of your Applehead Balinese kittens - I had a beautiful 😻 Applehead Siamese that I lost custody and visitation rights to 😿 in my divorce! (Crying over the cat but not the husband!) I like to visit you but NH is quite the distance! Soooo….. I’m looking to adopt/ purchase a new baby girl sometime around Christmas! Can you refer me to anyone reputable like yourself in the Chicagoland area or Wisconsin and possibly northern Indiana that breed similar cats/kittens?

It’s so hard to find a balinese breeder in nyc 😢 these cats are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my husband as he has that allergic reaction to the protein in other cats but he loves cats! I was wondering if maybe you know any breeders in my area that you trust and can point me in the direction of please!!

I fly to New York more than any other state in the US with kittens. I am happy to hand deliver a kitten. If there are allergy concerns I like to jump on a call to talk through the severity of them and then send out a small rag that we have rubbed all over the kittens and their parents to test for an allergic reaction.

Letting a good breeder choose a kitten is an awesome experience! My two Siamese boys were flown to me at 12 weeks from California as I was too nervous to drive them home after not having kittens for 30 years (My senior Siamese lived almost to 22!!!) Keep in mind that individual cats within the same breed can have different shedding patterns, so it's essential to pay attention to your specific cat's needs and grooming requirements. Are you looking to take care of one of the two? What are you looking for exactly?

All three because of the shedding perspective. I am trying to find the breed that doesn't shed much, but at the same time, I know that their personalities play a huge role and it's important to find the cat who would suit my lifestyle. I am a single person, who goes to work for 8 hours and I don't want this to affect my cat if (for example Tonkinese) require a lot of attention and activities. What are your thoughts? Have you got any experience with Russian Blue?
