What a sweet lady; "I slow down and watch for baby Deer". Those bales are pretty big not sure what they weigh or how many small bales they equal, but it would be a lot easier to pick up because you use a machine!

Our bales weigh 800 lbs, and there's about 20 small bales in each bale.

Those hydraulic hoses can be a real hassle, my youngest son and I have a lot of older equipment and we're dealing with a broken-worn out shoe on his discbine, so we just bent it down and finished the field he was in. Us farmers just do our best, given the circumstances. Good luck on the rest of the season, I hope all goes well and I want to wish Kevin a Happy Father's Day!

Miss Rhonda, next time you go Tractor Supply pick up a couple of pocket knives, maybe a pouch and put that on a belt. Put that where you will see it every day before you walk outside, and have a knife for yourself. They may even have one in pink ! You using a tape measure as a knife on the fly was outstanding. Another great video from a great family !!! Thank you Rhonda for sharing !!! Very smart to use tape measure to clear the knotter!!! We always used a 268 NH square baler. One or the other knotters would clog up often. I have made do with a lot of different utensils before if I had forgotten my knife. Finally left my knife in the small toolbox where we kept the shear bolts. Please be careful and God bless you all !!!!! Edd

Ronda. What you need on all or most of your tractors is what they used to be called a Suicide Knob. But I believe that it’s called a wheel spinner so you can do two things at once, hold the camera and turn the wheel at the same time Just a suggestion 😊

Years ago I swathed a patch of brome. I got to last strip across the field. A coyote come out , if looks could kill I'd be dead! A couple weeks later I swathed the patch of Sudan grass next to it. The coyote come out , trotted away from me , sniffing the base of the windrow. It caught something , ate it , trotted away!
