Well, we were gonna bale until the rake breaking took half the day and the baler throwing a bearing took the other half. Guess tomorrow is the redo.

Hello. What do you apply to oat hay during harvest? I am from Poland and I am very interested in the issue of oat hay. How long does it take from mowing to harvesting? At what humidity do you harvest hay. Great production, great farm.

Love the capacity of that baler. Next week I'll be baling some barley and it will be the first time running in a smooth field. Looking forward to baling when the rodent hills don't limit speed.lol

How high do you have your bale density pressure turned to? I have a new 560 deere and it seems like even cranked wide open they don’t get near as tight as the older Deere balers. I’ve always heard new holland makes the tightest heaviest bales out of any baler

Hi. I run similar Baler but 4x5. You cropcutting those bales? What pressure you running?
@tedkahler97385 жыл бұрын
no crop cutter on this baler and running at 2000 psi... (max pressure for this model)
@OldGlory17765 жыл бұрын
Looks like a great crop there Ted! Is the nh baler open throat?
@tedkahler97385 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by open throat? It has a similar feeding system as a deere with the pickup fingers in the front then between teeth and baler runs a rotary accelerator deally
@OldGlory17765 жыл бұрын
@@tedkahler9738 yep, open throat means there isn't a stuffer bar between the pickup and the Baler belts. Our John Deere 567 has a stuffer bar, our Vermeer 605n has nothing between the pickup and the starter roll, which makes it a open throat design
