I worked with pools. The 10000L to 20000L pools I found most sensible, in terms of maintenance, cost and practicality.

I can tell you after one glance that that pool is way too short for swimming. A friend of mine lives in Thailand and his pool is 10x5 meters and it’s definitely too short for doing laps. It’s a nice pool to sit in and cool down, but it’s so not for doing laps because you barely start swimming and you’re already at the end.
