Thank you for sharing. I modeled along while watching, it' was fun to create a complete chain family. Very intriguing how it all comes together. Great video 👍

2 questions: 1- why transform the lines into Reference Lines: 2- The family of the individual chain links carry dimensions, so does the overall line of the chain, how one reconcile both dimensions, clearly the overall length of the chain has to be multiple of each chain link

Is it possible to fulfill the gap between the points with a most similar size of pipe, considering I'm working with specific sort of sizes (0.50m, 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m... 4.0m)? I mean... If I choose an start and an end with 3.27m length, would it be possible to put a 3.5m pipe centered between the points? And... if so, is it possible to calculate the material? Taking the same example as before, would Revit count it as 1 3.5m pipe?

Great video as always, but can you please send me a link to a video showing how to apply it to a model and be able to edit the size of the chain. Thank you!

I watched your tutorial on strip lighting and it's very helpful and straight forward. But how can I get those photometric web files.
