Btw you mentioned soccer and for someone as into analytics and detail as you Football Manager would be so fun to see you try. Most realistic sports sim by a lot. Hard to learn but it's the best game ever when you do.

I agree with this. FM is an insanely in depth game, and you can either lean on analytics or attributes depending on what makes you tick.

the reason that the mass sub backups messes up for a few spots has to do with the sub lb, slot corner, and rush dt and de. you have to go in and manually adjust these roles to get the full backup experience. same thing with offense with the slot wr, power rb, and pass rb spots as well. i just manually adjust the depth chart to avoid that in these spots.

Thacker looked like Devin Hester vs. these FCS kids. Unreal returns today. And 17:15 looked way better than 3:30 🤣 I'm all for other channels talking about sports or other sports games. I think having much more brief season experiences for certain sports "in season" would be nice. I'd personally love to see you try out My GM in 2K (as its WAY more in-depth than they get credit for).

One thing: can we have up to date conference regiment? The MAC is adding UMass in 2025, with Northern Illinois leaving in 2026. The Mountain West is adding Northern Illinois and UTEP in 2026. The PAC-12 is adding Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State in 2026.

Mass Sub Backups - What happened was that you were up by so much the game mass subbed them automatically in the second half. That's why when you first did it it said "Mass Sub Starters".

I really like the idea of a 2k channel/series. I haven't played 2k in a few years so I'm not sure what the current state of their franchise mode is but it would be interesting to see you run a franchise in that game since a lot of the mechanics are pretty different.

hello max i have really loved your videos they have helped me a bunch in my quest to bring my teambuilder to the college football playoff starting as the worst team year 1. i just have a question, what is the benefit to signing a class of 35 players when you end up having to cut a bunch of people currently on the team? i know it obviously would help your recruiting class rank, but i'm just worried about cutting a bunch of good players because i recruited too many
