Everyone's complaints about the lighting but I actually find it aesthetically pleasant, it's so vintage. Great video btw. 😁

The lighting in the video is appalling, especially as its for a makeup tutorial where colour is so important.

if i went on stage with my makeup like that then my dance teacher would be so angry and my mum would never let me look that anyway id not get why they line under the eye it literally looks like your outlining your dark circles i would no I'm a dancer i just don't get it

+madison brown Most professional ballet dancers apply makeup this way. The outline creates the illusion of a larger eye. The lighter colour placed inside the dark light appears, at a distance, to be a part of the dancer's eye. This technique allows the audience to make out details of the dancer's face. The only way it would enhance under eye circles is if you're incapable of putting it on correctly. I understand that you're dancer and you "would no", but you're a YOUNG dancer. You won't be applying make up as dark as someone who is performing in a huge theatre, and you don't have as much experience as someone who is constantly on stage. Don't take this the wrong way. I'm just trying to say that it's not a good idea to be putting down someone's skill when you don't have enough experience to understand it.

To be honest, this makeup look is weird and ugly. Why is it not okay for stage makeup to look actually pretty in a normal sense??? It is also not Asian-friendly. (I am doing this for a child dancer and I felt really bad because it is not going to look good on her) I wish her school chose something different considering Asian children, the facial features are just so different.
