A fun day making up my friend Roberta Marquez, principal dancer at the Royal Ballet resulted in this dramatic, Bollywood/Arab/Classic Ballet make-up mash up! Hanging out in Roberta's predominantly pink dressing room backstage is like being in a little girls dream..... right down to the pink TV and Audrey Hepburn videos. Hope you enjoy it X

Roberta is such a beautiful dancer! As a ballet student (only for passion and a hobby - I started way to late to be as great as a professional must be. But that doesn't stop me from giving my best in pointe shoes!) and a fellow brazilian, I admire her so much! :) I also really admire you, Lisa! You do real magic w/ your talent. I had the pleasure of going to see the sleeping beauty a few years ago and even going backstage to see the setup of stage, costumes and makeup etc. It was a real honour to watch it all come together and one of the most beautiful things to see. I'd definetley recommend it!

When I was a child, I learned ballet dancing during 6 years, and my teacher was an ex "etoile" (star) at the Opera de Paris. I saw her with amazing make-ups, but never as beautiful as this one. This is pure Art! I love it!
