@@rebeccawhite3221 I’ve seen it pronounced both ways. Her father was Spanish, and GHEE-lem is the correct Spanish pronunciation. It’s also the pronunciation The NY Times specified in an article about her. But I’ve heard the French pronunciation of Gee-Yem too. Either one is better than Gwillem tho 😵‍💫

@@tiziana327 Qui si sta parlando di etoilé e non di piccole figure del mondo del balletto e su questo non vorrei essere frainteso, ma la sua frase d'esordio del video a mio parere non calza con la sua figura artistica che poggia più su un personaggio super dotato fisicamente ed estremamente sofisticato nella tecnica. L'espressione che lei mette in ciò che danza è ai minimi termini ed è compensata dalla sua bellezza. Non so se sono riuscito a rendere stavolta il concetto. Ho capito che sei una vera fan della Guillem.

Ho capito cosa intendi per espressione artistica… ovvio che c’è che ne ha di più chi ne ha di meno, chi ne ha una a modo proprio. Lei ha la sua espressività, che ovvio può anche non piacere. Ma ce l’ha. A me in una ballerina piace ammirare molto il corpo per esempio… ce ne sono di bravissime, e non faccio nomi per non offendere nessuno, ma alcune sono brutte. Ecco questo per me è un limite … la bellezza, l’armonia, l’elasticità, la leggerezza, sono doti fondamentali che non tutte hanno nella loro massima espressione. Quella sensazione di vedere il movimento senza il minimo sforzo ( ma sappiamo che non è così..) nella Guilliem è al massimo livello … I gusti non si discutono. Infine vorrei dire l’ultima cosa. Anche la bellezza è arte. E forse sopratutto.
