Chun, you voice is almost inaudible due to the background noise. These are excellent teaching videos and I really appreciate. I would not want to miss a word.

Here from Harper 🎅🏿💁🏾 I've been working on my flexibility for years and my hamstrings are sooo freaking tight. After three years I got both my side splits and my standing split. I think people forget that you guys have to work hard for it too.

I hope guys don't have to have been working 7 years on the strattle and forward split and still not get it completely and completely fail at the strattle cause it sucks
@rodericwalter28624 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, daily effort. And some non-dancers will never get to level of flexibility - especially if they are not working on good habits and a good routine almost every day.

there’s classes here on yt that i’ve been doing during lockdown. also, some more tips : i don’t know how old you are but if you want a chance at being pro or going to college for dance, you should train around 20-30 hours a week, and consider cross training (pilates and yoga are good). also do weight training if your a male. i hope that i can help you achieve your dreams, sorry for being a year late :)

Hi id like to start learning ballet but am a little awkward because of public perception that ballet are for girls and gays. Are there really straight males in ballet? thank you.

There are

Would be best if possible to find a school with at least a couple male pupils (if not all of them, that'd be great) bc then you'd get to do more truly male variations instead of mixed male and female ones (which is what happens sometimes for practical reasons).

I’m a ballet dancer myself and with that mentality it will hold you back that’s an American stereotype. Cubans, Russians, and other cultural groups look at it as a high art form. It requires strength from the men. Essentially, a male danseur is the ballerinas strength. Your there to support her. That’s the epitome of masculinity if you ask me. That’s the make danseurs job. Take courage and don’t worry what others might say.

Is their a difference between male and female ballet I'm just curious...who gave this a thumbs down WOW that's a strech
@liobu30976 жыл бұрын
wolfie 7116 Male ballet tends to go very hard whilst female ballet would go for light feather-looking and soft. Male ballet dancers are called danseur whilst female ballet dancers are called ballerina
