Ballimaran Nihari is actually situated in Shaheen Bagh. It tastes same as Purani Dilli ki Nihari and this is the best Nihari I could taste in Okhla till date.
Nahari is a very strong part of best Delhi Street food.

Whenever I visited Delhi I used to relish amazingly savoury meal . I've tried many Ballimaran/chandni chowk niharis including Haji shabrati, Karim,Al jawahar but which in your opinion is best and why which an outsider must try bcz a traveller doesn't has time to try everything?

Then I must advice you to restrict urself to the narrow lanes of shahjahanabad aka purani dilli. Delicious Nihari and other stuffs in Okhla is a hoax and myth I'm telling you this with my personal experience over the years.
