He scored 14 in 18 mins in the league game. Scored 31 against men in the last bbb game. And now scored 43 against men. Also at high school as a sophmore he averaged 32ppm. Playing against men is definitely more challenging and better for his development. Rather than averaging 32ppm. Melo will make the league. Hes 16 and performing great vs adults. Imagine by the time hes 19 with a more developed game and has learnt plays and improved his decision making. Gelo wont make the nba because of his size. And his game is not complete.

Here's the thing... people were saying the same thing about Austin Mathews (Toronto Maple Leafs) when he went to Europe to play adults instead of playing in the NCAA, WHL/OHL/QJHL (Canada top tier hockey). Your way of thinking is outdated. We are in an era of basketball where traditional roles of position have been thrown out. In the NBA today if the guy who dominates the ball the most for you can't score you are going to have a hard time winning. I like Lonzo but he's a throwback to an era that is gone. Elite basketball all over the globe is moving toward a game that is positionless. That is the way the game was meant to be played. Positions are a way to make following and teaching the game more simple to people who are new to it. At a high level positions should always be throw out. Today Ben Simmons at 6'10 is his teams fulltime point guard. Lebron has been the fulltime point guard in Cleveland for years and Giannis is his teams primary ball handler and decision maker, so is Jokic in Denver although they run actions to get him into position to run the offense off the catch. In NY KP is a small forward. Curry, Westbrook, Harden and Dame are all their teams first options to score. Its a new day
