Same shit i'm dealing with right now. bro their barrel was so under gassed, i had a fucking machine shop check the gas port with set of pin gauges, that gas port was like a fucking .060. never once, no matter the bolt, or buffer different mag, or no mag at all could i get that fucking barrel to EJECT THE BRASS, LET ALONE PICK UP ANOTHER ROUND, bro that fucking gun short strokes so bad I recorded the bolt carrier a few times, that damn bolt only retracts back about 1" lmao. i'm pissed about this. we checked EVERYTHING, everything else was in spec, it was their gas port, and they send me some email from BA saying oh we'll end you an RMA if you can get me 20 pieces of information. well it's a 14.5" pinned and welded barrel, why the hell do i wanna send this back, who's gonna pay for my $2xx.xx bcm barrel nut that's installed on that barrel? I have a $100.00 muzzle brake welded to that barrel... who's gonna pay for that shit? and then they send me some stupid email, we'll look at it and let you know. thanks, i already had a machine shop check it out, you dropped the fucking ball, BIG, not only am i fucked on your $2xx.xx shit stick of a barrel, you 've fucked me out of a muzzle brake, i'll get my barrel nut off after i take a grinder and zip wheel through this piece of shit barrel.

@@imbrandon16 why don’t you just remove the muzzle device and gas block?? Removing a pinned item is on you not them… is a lot easier than cutting the barrel in half haha . If I was them and you sent me a barrel cut in half I would definitely not refund you for being a douchebag. The easiest thing to do since you had someone remove the gasblock and drop a pin in it to check its size supposedly. Well it’s pretty simple to put in a drill press and drill it out a lil bigger and put it back together . If that’s even the case. Pet of Building your own complete gun means you might have to trouble shoot a couple things and pinning and welding everything before you even function testing it is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of in my life you don’t have to mount your handguard and optics on it just tighten up your gas block and test it a couple rounds hahaha fuck you wouldn’t think you’d have to explain that to someone I’m sure the customer service guy was like blown away by your own stupidity haha.

Same here, just received a BA .308 fluted barrel that has the deepest rotating reamer marks from one end to the other I have ever seen. The second worse was military barrel from the 60s and it was a distant second. It also is dark with what looks like rust stain, sadly I sent them bore scope pictures and they say it looks normal. I know that is BS because thankfully none of my other barrels look like fine threads were cut in the bore LOL.

This is exactly how my 6 ARC Ballistic Advantage barrel came.. Bubble wrap over a sealed plastic bag with rubber protection on the muzzle threads and barrel extension. Outstanding!

Ballistic Advantage is the real deal! I purchased one of their premium barrels from a distributor in Texas and after receiving the barrel I 1st checked the headspace of the barrels chamber with PT gauges and was surprised when the bolt easily closed on the NOGO gauge. I tried to get in touch with the distributor via phone and emails and was completely ignored by them! Once they did respond via email after a couple weeks I was told that I would need to go to the manufacturer for a resolution. While I was waiting for a response from the distributor I contacted Ballistic Advantage and described the issue. They responded to me that same day. After a couple emails I received a return mailing label from Ballistic Advantage who then asked me what barrel I wanted for a replacement. I explained to Trisha that I was concerned with timing of a delivery since I live in Washington state. I picked out a barrel they had in stock and she rushed delivery - I received the barrel a couple day's later. These guy's rock!🙂

Hanson rocks dude….I can’t complain about any of the 5 I own. Fluted 18 is my favorite….16 BA profile pinned 223…10 in 300 BO….8.3 9mm16 in modern 308…(chef’s kiss). All shoot perfectly and are among the best value AR parts to be found anywhere! I would always start your build with at least considering BA barrels…the receivers and bolt carriers are money too. Pretty much has all the best features of Aero lowers and uppers with different logos. The man knows the platform and even will show you how to dimple your barrel himself at home. Hanson could be the MVP in the industry right now. Nice review brother.

I just ordered a 16in 223 Wylde 1/8 twist premium series stainless Hanson with a pinned gas block and after watching this video I am super excited to get this barrel. It was reg $245 and I got it on sale for $199 so I couldn’t pass it up lol. I already had a regular ol panther arms 16in gov 1/9 twist barrel but I went all out on everything else on the build so I said screw I can’t have every part of the rifle top of the line and put an ol run of the mill barrel in it. Great video bud.

I am a 1000yd benchrest competition shooter with both light and unlimited class benchrifles and i run all Brux and Hawk Hill barrels so i know what a good bore looks like and the Wilson Combat are spectacular. I have mixed feelings as to whether they cherry picked the barrel or not. I hope they didn't send you a hand picked barrel because of the fact that you're filming a review on it. On the other hand I'd hope that any time someone has an issue where they get a barrel like the last one you had, that BA would hand pick the replacement barrel to make absolutely sure the customer doesn't get another defective barrel.

All my BA have come packaged like that with protected extension and threads. Their costumer service is awesome. Have a 14.5 with 13k through still shooting sub minute with Hornady 75gr. Tested it last weekend.

I just want to let you know that the hanson barrel i just purchased did not come packaged in the same manner as the one you received. There was no plastic nipple on the crown, no bubble wrap. only came in a plastic bag surrounded in a few pieces of Kraft paper. It looks beat up.

So it looks like you got a used barrel sold to you as new from Big Daddy Unlimeted. The original barrel you got from Big Daddy Unlimited came in the original packaging but it was unsealed, had no stickers on it, no cosmoline and didn't have the protectors on the ends of the barrel like the replacement barrel that came directly from Ballistic Advantage. At least that's what I got from your comments in all three of the videos about the barrel. I was thinking about signing up for them since I am in the process of building two new ARs until I saw a video review of them that made me kind of suspect they were at least a little shady after reading some of the responses to some of the comments to the video. After seeing this round of videos about this barrel purchase from them I won't be signing up for Big Daddy Unlimeted. I'm glad that Ballistic Advantage took care of you. I'll be buying one of their barrels in either the 11.3" or 12.3" barrels but I'll be buying directly from them. It's probably a safer bet to buy from them instead of a place like Big Daddy Unlimited. In my opinion it looks like it's buyer beware when buying from Big Daddy Unlimited.

It only takes once for me to turn my back to a company that will not back there product's. I was a loyal customer of cold steel knifes. I paid a premium price for a knife with obvious defects sent it back as requested with a detailed note. The knife was returned to me 3 weeks later in worse shape. I sent it back with a note telling them to keep it and they did never again will I buy from them. Customer service is everything good on Balistic advantage for standing behind there product's but there customers.

Easily 1.5moa with fmj bulk ammo and better with a few different match loads. Seems to like the 62grain Hornady frontier bthp match out of everything ive shot through it.

I've been looking for a quality AR pistol. I have other M4 carbine and rifles already but want the light weight and maneuverability. I've been looking at a few "top tier" options that are available currently pre owned. One is a POF one is a DD mk18 and the other is a Noveske upper on a colt lower. All "pistol lengh" barrels. They have aftermarket triggers also and range from $1100-$1400. I'm also looking at a New Aero Precision pistol, the M4-E1 model. I can get it now for $900 out the door. I've never heard much bad if at all about Aero Precision and it has the Ballistic Advantage barrel. I am wondering if in your experience (or anyone else's here) if it is what its supposed to be, would it be a go-to quality like the others as far as what they are? I've heard the barrel and bcg and QC is the only difference in AR/M4's. I don't want to pay $900 for a rifle that I could pay $500 for in another name. But I don't mind paying for quality. Exactly why I don't buy ANYTHING from Bear Creek Aresenal. I have a 300 BLK OUT barrel with a defective chamber that I had verified by two gunsmiths and that defective chamber caused an detonation out of battery resulting in ruining my upper receiver bolt etc. Sent all the evidence to BCA and never heard back from them. Truly horrible company. Never again.

Since this is that barrel company's 2nd barrel you can bet you sweet ass the triple checked this barrel b4 it left their place..but in all fairness the 1st barrel should have been checked a d top notch.Their QC is sub-par or it would have not come to this. With all the marksmen and gun builders following KB32 this company got the shit smeared all in their face a d more likely than not,lost a bunch of potential buyers and lots of ,$$$$ . Your voice has been heard thousand miles away, though. I'm out looking for a new barrel for my DMR build and I see a consistent pattern with BA barrels - they seem to care only if you make a noise on YT. Average Joe does not seem to be of any importance to them. I'll probably skip BA and go for Wilson instead, when they are back in stock in my country.

No! Nothing to protect the muzzle threads, no patch, no shirt, not even a sticker. Just a cardboard tube with a barrel in it.

No shirt, but I'm sure if I had been in Kotaboy's situation complaining about a barrel they would give me a shirt, too. This was my second barrel. The one I received 3 years ago did not have a patch in the box, but was packaged the same way.

To make it even better I carried through on what sig ended up not doing by putting a red Dot on it a ff3 all u need is the mount egw makes works excellently haven't needed any rezeroing or movement of the mount in 1k rds so far, makes it very easy to stretch out your shots
