Hello. I have really enjoyed the videos you put out. I do appreciate the fact that you mention the name of the figures. Can you please tell me the numbers of the school figures that go with the routine in this video, please and thank you.

It looks more like pasodoble than actual tango but it was beautiful and you both are very talented :), it lacks the usual smoothness og tango and the trumpets(?) give a very spanish style.
@BallroomMasteryTV3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I’m glad it lacks smoothness it means we hit the mark as Tango (international) is staccato aka as the dance that stops and starts. 💥💥🙏
@berniayelen17713 жыл бұрын
@@BallroomMasteryTV yes but besided the staccato I still think it's too stiff, so it gets closer to the famous spanish dance, as an argentinian living in spain, it's a misunderstanding i see all the time but since you seemed very talented and interested i just wanted to point that out. Hope it doesn't sound impolite! It's not my intention at all. And funny fact, tango was danced by two men at first :) it's quite unusual.
@BallroomMasteryTV3 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome! Not at all I always welcome other opinions as your tango is the original and I respect that. New vogue is an interpretation in any case. I hope to meet you one day on the dance scene!

I really like your videos, but could you make a video specially about poses in Tango or Waltz? I don't know a lot about poses, but I would love to learn how to dance some of them!
@BallroomMasteryTV5 жыл бұрын
Alex.I What do you mean “poses?” I’m assuming you mean the frame? The frame is what connects the couple and creates balance and it’s the composite of the posture, poise, and hold of the couple. There are many positions in this dance but the primary one is Promenade Position which is a vitally important part of any Ballroom or New Vogue dancing. Make sure you check out the in-depth free Masterclass I created which goes through a lot of this.

@@BallroomMasteryTV Oh I am sorry, in german it's called "Pose" but I am not sure how it is called in english. But what I mean are figures like "Valentino" in Tango or the "Throwaway Oversway" in Waltz. I don't know the generic term for this kind of figures.

me too like some Waltz

Normally your routines are good, however you should not teach showy stuff like this because there nuisances out there who do this on a normal social dance and become a nuisance to others and unless they pull it off they'll look silly, sorry but witnessed this exact style of behaviour at dances and it is so inconsiderate.
@BallroomMasteryTV5 жыл бұрын
There are many concerns in life and in dance; I get that. We should be more concerned with thyself than with others. Through our dance career We have had plenty of menaces but at the end of the day we should all get out there and try something new with out the fear of judgement, ridicule or the opinions of others. We are all united by passion for dance. Maybe encourage them to watch this video to help them out! 😀
