compass or circle used to find the middle of any circle? anyway great explanations on the major points of transferring from balsa to foam. I loved to see the goal in balsa which make things a lot easier to understand.

The name: Tummelisa was first Tummeliten (Tumme liten=Thumb small )backwards as if a small child would show his little thumb and just started talking. Then it started to be called "Tummelisa" or just "Lisa" ... have not found a sensible explanation for why? Maybe just that a woman's name on L fit better than small ... and thumb was allowed to remain as the meaning of something very small ... Children sometimes suck on thumbs and the plane is not big ... grown up. A very cute little airplane😊👍

I've read that the Tummelisa moniker was adopted as the airplane had a tendency to "roll on her back" ;)
